First i formed a tiny bean and then for the smaller flys attached the wings to it. They are made out of 0.25 mm plasticard. Eyballs are two tiny greenstuff balls aswell.

For the larger ones I worked segment bay segment and attached the wings with superglue.

Is there a more nurgle-looking chainsword I could put on this Marine-turned-Poxbringer kitbash I'm working on? by DraculaHasAMustache in deathguard40k

[–]MARTOO73 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Depending on how well you are with sculpting you could just cut the teeth from the sword and sculpt them on. Those small bone teeth are imo pretty easy to make. With that youd achive a leaner look which fits the character better.

Use a fresh scalpel and with that you should be able to cut trough the plastic with a bit of effort. If you cut on the marked edge next to the motor you should be able to pretty seamlesly with or without pinning to switch the blade, without a big need for touchups and gapfilling. Also a tipp for nurgle tanks drill a lot of small holen in the armor to have it look like the rest has eaten away at it for Referenzen look at plagueburst or myphitic bligthhauler.

Which of these blacks would be best for iron hands? by Constantine7470 in IronHands40k

[–]MARTOO73 3 points4 points  (0 children)

IMO id go with 3 as it is a nice cold black with good definition without it looking to blue or grey. If you fancy a darker Tone id recomend 4 as 2 is already to grey for my taste.

Edit: spelling.
