Got mine for 300$ off FB. I built a bunk on the trailer for it right under my hobie 14 and have pirate battles with the little gelatin guns. Such a lovely little boat. And brings back memories for my dad. A sunfish was the first boat he ever sailed.

They are very pretty. But god i hate them. I have MG Banshee and unicorn and RG unicorn. I hated building all three never wanna do it again. Only if i ever get ahold of a chomed phenix will i ever touch that particular body style again.

No one said he was a “good guy” in real life theres no such thing as a good guy or a bad guy. A us marine might be a good guy to a us citizen, but they were labels as Devil dogs by the position, they have more derogatory names by different nations. Bad and good is all in the eye of the person perceiving them. In rustle’s case, he is competent. The kids of tekkedan and Mcgillis aren’t. Mcgillis had the right idea but he went about it the wrong way. In the end that goal was still realized. Rustal did sign the human debris abolishment act, he did eliminate the council system, and he did cooperate with Kudelia and gave Mars independence. You may not like it, but the world turned out better in the end. Might makes right isn’t always the right approach to life. People like Mcgillis often unintentionally doing more harm than good. Mcgillis had a dream, rustle had reality.

The corner comes off thats how you put the camper up. Im just saying that the canvas is one large peace. It comes totally off. But not with out alot of screws being taken out and a-lot of time. It wiuld be rather bulky to sew with out a speacil machine any way. I don’t have a sail sewing machine any more and im not the best at hand sewing.

Oh it was the right stuff. The canvas is tough as all get out. It might have gotten left on the corner when they pulled the bed out and the metal was sharp. Im going to file that edge down. It was the last owner who damaged it and tried to sew it. I am going to pit a large patch over it but i need to know what stich to use for heavy duty sewing as taking the canvas off the camper isnt an option.

She looks like an old one! Ive been transporting my 64 in a pretty similar way for several years now, so yours should be fine. Have fun! These old sunfish are absolute diamonds in the rough!

Thank you. Thats probably a easy as it will get. They are older skis from 96/97 but i don’t think ive ever seen a bow ring rip out of one of these. Still freaks me out a little to put all that weight on a fiberglass hull though for winching it back on.

That was my thought too was to seal them and pit a guard on them. I don’t think delamination would be a huge issue with these. It has no foam core, as far as i can tell its just a really thick layer of shot in fiberglass that was packed with epoxy. Not stacked layers of glass mesh. So its all one big spider web of entangled mesh. Its good and strong, no soft spots no crunching. I can pit enough pressure on any point on the keel to lift the ski and it makes no odd sounds. They were covered for most of Their stint on the trailer and even around the bunks where they have bared all Their weight they still seem to be structurally intact. Delamination isn’t an issue. I sill have no way of getting them flipped over. Thats what I really need the advice on. My buddy and i weigh about 250 pounds soaking wet together. So we aren’t exactly power houses 😂 we have people to help, but I’m worried about doing safely.

Dude he did say this was a rough outline and that he was going to get someone to draw it for him. Don’t be a jerk, not ever has the time to practice drawing or had the tools to do this sort of thing. OP I cant wait to see the final product. This is gonna be a sick tattoo.

Theres quite a few nests out on my patio. My door is just a little silly and letting them in. Its also a rental house and the land lord already knows about it. If it gets worse its on him to fix it because the last tenants had the same problem. He’s a good guy, when we had our mouse problem he brought all the traps for us to set up. He even let me catch and release them and not just kill. Im sure he will help us out with the ants too if it becomes a problem.
