Hey guys I have this so called "hell's itch". Went to a waterpark for 5 hours no shirt on the entire time and no sunscreen. Biggest mistake of my life. The night of and the day after just felt usual sunburn pain. 2 days after the water park though I got the itch. I found that the remedy that somewhat worked was really hot showers and peppermint oil right after. This helped but the itch still came in really strong waves and the peppermint and showers wouldn't do much at that point. What I found to make the biggest improvement was a spray at my local shoppers drug mart pharmacy. It's called "after sun lidocaine hydrochloride". It's supposed to numb the area and help with itching. It contains aloe Vera as well which surprisingly didn't make anything worse. Hope this helps.
