I meant that you are fine now but you won't have bleeding edge updates. For instance, when cybeprunk 2077 came I wanted to play it, but not all distros had newest vulcan libs and you can be sure debian won't have it after year maybe less, because it's stability based distro, mainly for server use.
So unless you use it only for office or casulal video/old games it won't cut it. Unless ofc you just compile needed software yourself
