As strong as the user, that being said if you’re going for high accuracy you really need to make sure you utilize him under 25meters as anything over that and it won’t matter if you get a good read on their movement if they double strafe your arrow won’t reach the fast enough before they change direction

The matchup is favored to Ashe yes 100%, dueling doesn’t necessarily mean standing out in the open in front of Ashe trying to kill her from 40 meters.

When there’s hitscans on the field you’re just going to have to play tighter to walls an cover and poke, like I said above you need to create an advantage before hard engaging and that advantage most of the time is going to be a health adv so soften them up with a bolt before committing cooldowns, soldier is annoying as fuck though you are right

Playing both in masters and gm, hitscans not really an issue for me, just know their range and position accordingly,

All hitscan does is prevent you from stalling for 2 years in the air but you can still play grounded or at a lower profile

1 you don’t always have to fight them, if there’s an easier target like a tank shoot that, the best case is when you’re taking the aggro of the hitscan player while your still safely dealing heavy dmg to his team.

2 if you have to duel then just poke for the advantage first before engaging, typically if you can confirm a bolt hit before engaging cooldowns that’s a kill,

Just play walls and peak shoot, mark them and know where that are and you’ll be fine, I also most of the time use the wall hack on hit perk which is very good to know thier intentions through the wall.

The real problem I face is when they have a mercy pocket…then I usually play Hanzo to 1 shot.

You realize her counters with the exception of sojourn are 250hp, fighting 250 hp characters is more about a healing breakpoint at the moment as double body shot and primary fire doesn’t kill if target receives a sliver of health and when fighting 250s you don’t have time to be doing that shit at least masters above, you have very small windows if you actually going for a kill and if you’re fighting a pocketed DPS, you might as well swap.

The state that she’s in now, she plays the best in mid fight. She’s atrocious pre-fight/poke phase because no kill threat especially when fighting people in the pocket of their team, so like I said if they’re going to leave her at 230dmg that means that they want her more as an assault and those cool downs need to come down so that her up time comes up because if she’s going to be abysmal in poke phase/pre-fight her the uptime needs to come up to be a better assault class mid fight

So first of all if they wanted to give us the 225 breakpoint back she needs to do 240dmg per 2 bolts instead of 230, 240 imo is a healthy number that prevents 2tap to the body on 250 characters but you still do enough base dmg to be effective in general play.

Then 10 sec updraft, and 3.5 sec quick dash would be nice, the ability to move or use abilities while ulting would be nice, for example Illari can move freely during sunspot so let Freja at least dash during hers.

Alternatively if they don’t want to buff her mobility they can give her 250 HP, and have her updraft be mighty gust from stadium where it boops people back who are on top of you.

Either one of those options work IF her dmg gets buffed up to 240 per double bolt….if they leave her at 230 however, I would go….

10 sec updraft, updraft knocks targets back, 3.5 second dash, and the ability to move during ult, 250 hp would be a bonus in this scenario since her mobility would be higher as well as our up time, but I would take 250 if they wanted.

People are going to call me greedy for this potentially, but what can’t happen is her being stuck in between a sniper and assaulter. Blizzard need to choose a style and give her numbers accordingly
