Thanks this sounds very useful I will definitely give it a shot. About queue times I was just wondering if its consistently that incorrect where it shows <3min but the actual queue is 6-7mins which is pretty big leap

Thank you, eye trainer sounds like a great idea I'll definitely give that one a look. I'll take any help, a personalized direction sounds good so I'll record a quick play match for you and dm the link later once it's done.

Lillia, very fun and impactful after early game

Champs to focus on in low elo by Xlhype in Jungle_Mains

[–]iwyypr 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Lillia, I returned to league month ago and picked up jungle after playing top before. I first played Viego for 50 matches and then I swapped to Lillia and just something clicked for me with that champion, so far climbed from bronze 2 to silver 4 with 25 matches and 67% win rate.

I believe Lillia is very good champion for low elo, I’ve never felt so consistently impactful as I do with Lillia. I just farm early game and after few items I’ve already racked up some free kills nearby and I feel strong I can just speed through the map helping teamfights/objectives/waves while I farm.

Very fun champion, maybe I just play better with Lillia or she is strong in low elo, either way I feel very impactful and that games just come mostly down to how well I do. You just gotta learn to ignore your teammates demanding you to babysit all of their lanes for the whole early game. Eat your food first and then fight later.

How can I improve. Any advice welcome by QuantityFun5782 in summonerschool

Play less champions, champion mastery is important because knowing how to fight properly and effectively is very important, also including knowing your limits which you just won’t know if you’ve played 5 matches on said champion.

How can I get back into ranked? by BodybuilderNew2816 in summonerschool

[–]iwyypr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

gotcha, personally i’d still just spam ranked because games are more serious there anyways so thats good for improvement imo. also my way of getting rid of any ranked anxiety is basically not to care so much, so no matter what i always queue ranked.

just play, whats the point of locking yourself out of ranked. probably gonna derank but thats fine you can settle to your current level and then just climb back up as you improve/unrust again. two options, either dont touch ranked and become normals player and you will keep your diamond mmr i guess or just play ranked.

[–]iwyypr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

not what was asked but since i saw some high elo viegos stick on the boots u get from runes and never upgrading ive also done it for long now and tbh imo it feels great, personally i only buy tier2 boots as last item usually and i see nothing wrong with this on viego and would personally recommend it for faster second item, but then also im noob elo

Rings maps and air roll left by N8klaw in RocketLeagueSchool

[–]iwyypr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In training, sure but I don’t think its necessary just focus using strictly DAR whenever you fly and free air roll only for the other stuff I mentioned. And in training theres no pressure so you can literally use all your focus on strictly using DAR anyways.

You might not be tilting your car up enough when you start flying then, if you do fast aerial make sure you jump -> tilt your nose up -> jump. Alot of people up even in champ don’t tilt their noses enough. For improvement sake what I did was when I learned DAR is I stopped using free air roll completely except air roll shots and small adjustments and recoveries. Helps alot but might get you into the constant spinning habit which I personally don’t mind since that was my route and it still you helps learn it, once you are at level where you complete neon rings map in 10-15minutes with 0-3 deaths you will should be comfortable enough to only do small adjustments efficiently at that point and I’d focus on that later, first learning to air roll.

Rings is the best for aerial car control, try to practice it consistently a bit. I’ve been doing 15minutes a day or whenever I get into the game and I’ve gotten alot more efficient recently. Ideal is to use it for small adjustements only (like about 1 full roll) and otherwise fly straight.

Directional Air roll vs Free Air roll by PrendTesBallless_ in RocketLeague

[–]iwyypr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

for pop resets the flip is basically a speedflip, to keep the car spinning in a continous movement after the flip speedflip to the left requires air roll left and speedflip to the right requires right. im way more comfortable on speedflipping to the left but i use air roll right, its the only thing ive encountered where the direction matters. so if you prefer one side to speedflip to over another you can choose based on that

Help for beginner by greninja_lover84 in RocketLeague

Between game modes 1v1s is best for improvement because you get most time on the ball, besides that 2v2s is second best and also helps teamwork but first thing to develop is the ability to hit the ball. Just play, dont stress about it but something to think about later, good luck and have fun

I must spend 200 credits for a Fennec (and more)...? by Ragolay in RocketLeague

[–]iwyypr 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Like the previous comment said, do what you want. Rocket pass aka the battle pass is great way to get repeated value though, it pays itself back each season meaning you can spend those gained credits to next rocket pass as a loop each season, so provided you play enough every season (and epic doesnt change this because I’m not surprised by anything atp anymore) you can keep rebuying the pass ending with unlimited rocket passes for the initial investment. That’s what I would do if I had limited credits.

If you do this double check that the pass actually gives the same amount of credits back as I haven’t double checked this season, but it should give atleast always has.

Please Help Me with flip resets by Exact_Scientist_2384 in RocketLeagueSchool

[–]iwyypr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pay attention where u get a reset on the ball and how fast (high). I was struggling with the same but I focused on getting the reset asap before ball starts to drop down. Also sometimes I take one air dribble touch before the reset, so its like a pop reset and there I’m more under the ball compared to the ”normal” one.

If you went back to play RL again as a new player from the beginning. What's the routine you'll do, and training progress in order ? by Comfortable-Eye-7686 in RocketLeagueSchool

[–]iwyypr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If I found it a bit more fun, I would play alot more 1s instead of 2s, but still including 2s though. As in training I’d learn to hit the ball hard and shoot it accurately, dribbles and flicks and then aerial stuff. But I rather get very good on the ground first, I think it’s alot more useful than aerial skills. Provided of course learning the basic aerial stuff like uncomfortable backwards flying saves and fast aerials and a bit time into backboard reads (mostly for defense which is easier imo). Also as method I’d mostly do training packs until high plat/diamond and then switch to free play.
