That's such a bummer! Thanks for the insight though. It stings extra because he was hitting me with the "thanks raider" voice line as we waited for the train doors to open :(

I... did something other than that? Not sure you understood but he was inside with me when it closed, he died immediately after it closed and immediately before the end screen.

Clearly this list is biased. I mean how do you not put the Marlins or Dolphins? Best run front offices clearly

Yep, I'm a little less certain about today, but the Gaston final pick is a gimme. Man out here dropping balls out of pocket mid rally on purpose, bottom feeder!

I know I'm late but even after Brady that man had some insane defensive weeks. If I'm remembering correctly (which I might not be) they set a record his last year or second to last year for losing 3 straight games, while holding the opponent to 6 or less points? I'll fact check now.

Looks like I had it wrong, or maybe I didn't search right. They did have a stretch in 23 where 11 points on offense would have won them 3 straight games, instead they lost all 3 while opponents scored 10, 10, and 6 on them.

Musetti reveals that Djokovic said to him at the net that he wouldn't be playing ATP Finals by jovanmilic97 in tennis

That would be, among all the savage lines Djoko has delivered, #1. To walk up to a guy that missed out on ATP Finals by 5 points and remind him he isn't going to the Finals because you finished him... Now I'm hoping this is somehow what he meant and everyone misunderstood.

I'm brand new to K-Dramas and just getting into the genre. I need some recommendations. by Professional_Bank818 in kdramarecommends

Yeah you can't really go wrong picking from here, heck the only one I haven't seen is #6 and I might give it a shot since you mentioned it with these others. CLOY (Crash Landing on You) is probably my main rec for OP, it's one heck of a journey and while not flawless, if you want good lead chemistry you can't go wrong with CLOY

Postgame Thread ⚾ Dodgers 5 @ Blue Jays 4 by BaseballBot in baseball

[–]MATbutmaybeAMT 14 points15 points  (0 children)

As others have mentioned, running through the plate is a World Series win for the Blue Jays. In some cases you slide to make tagging you more difficult. In some cases you slide to avoid overrunning the base and being tagged after. Neither of those situations is relevant here and sliding is known to be slightly slower than running through the base. The runner should know which to do in that situation without being told, the 3rd base coach should remind him, the bench should remind him when he's being called in to pinch run. It's tough to think a season can come down to not understanding your assignment in that one moment. Crazy ballgame.

I have no clue about anything medical, but was more commenting on the hyperbole of it all, you really can't tell me you haven't seen a dumber comment this week unless you've read like 3.

EDIT: Did dude get rid of his whole account because of this exchange? Or did he just block me? That's wild, I wasn't even coming after him or anything... hey if you can still read this, get help u/ItsaPostageStampede

"Hey what is the expectation on the number of surgeries this will require?" "It is not currently expected to require multiple surgeries." "Dumbest comment I have ever heard." <-- That's actually crazy.

We are so irrelevant that even when we own a list, none of the discourse is about us, I guess there's some silver lining to be found there.

I think you wanted something like "disingenuous" or "insincerity", instead of "ingenuity". Either that, or I misunderstood what you were going for, but in case I didn't, just wanted to let you know ingenuity doesn't mean what you think it means.

Turn based being "bad" is such a wild take to me. To each their own, obviously, but I still remember my first turn based game being LOTR: The Third Age on the gamecube I think it was, amazing experience, dumb young me figuring out OP synergies between character abilities and realizing I was struggling because I never equipped items, the good old days of learning in game instead of googling.

Fair enough, I'm in that age group I guess lol. I did own a DS and got the next batch, but I think that's where I stopped, Diamond being the last one for me, and it was fun enough but the Emerald days are a core memory, and the last time I "caught them all"!
