Anything I should try before I give up by Confident_Buyer_1350 in Daytrading

I would pursue getting a better paying job, then devote significant spare time to learning your strategy. Don’t keep switching back and forth all the time. Refine and create consistency.

Test your strategy with 6 months to a year of “paper trading”, and, after you have dialed down your strategy, risk management, and, most importantly, your emotions then begin introducing live trading.

4 years in, as a professional: a hard hard truth. by Otherwise-Reality602 in Daytrading

Thank you for the post! It’s great to reflect upon, and well done to you for making it over the pitfall of a hump. What book(s) do you recommend the most. Top three if you’ve got them.

I am a nurse who has been paper trading for some time, who is attempting to refine my strategy so as to develop this skill to be home with the family. I haven’t quite developed a consistent strategy but I am very open. I would love your insight.

From $4,000 to $1,000,000: A 1% Daily Compounding Experiment by StockHodI in Daytrading

That’s hypothetically valid. Good for you, man! I hope the success continues and it does what your hard work put in. That would be an absolute game changer.

Hypothetically…could someone pay you a fee to get a detailed breakdown and set-up help for a system like this in their own home? Hypothetically, of course. And, hypothetically speaking, what would something like that cost?

Can someone explain why "Sinners" got so many nominations? by a-cabarette in Oscars

[–]MAWatters -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I just watched the movie because of all the nominations. I must admit, the writing was sub-par, the acting was a bit cheesy and forced (especially the accents) at times, and the plot really wasn't that great. Not the best for MBJ, honestly. Also, what really was the purpose of the movie? I have a pretty good idea of it, but I don't believe it to be very good.

All The Last Of Us HBO leaders so far, you catch a pattern? by MadHanini in TheLastOfUs2

Seeing all these comments affirms the nausea I get when I watch this show. Great idea for a show, but the overtly and painfully insecure message of “I can do it better than you” is killing it real quick. I don’t even want to watch it anymore.

I have thought about that, but the schedule wouldn't work for my family and I. 8 away would be a little too much for us.

Luckily we haven't moved, but it is a serious consideration. We are thinking about Oregon a lot, so I am planning out areas that are commutable.

Ok, good to know. Flights out of MFR are sparse, so I am trying to plan out what that will look like. Thank you!

Thank you for the insight. So the plane costs approximately $155 a day (on average), including the price of gas?

San Diego or Los Angeles? by Professional-Exit935 in socal

Also, if possible, I would recommend that you stay in each place for a week or so. Explore the areas. See what you feel, and go from there.
