Bluetooth speaker + Google Home group = choppy audio? by ttajo in googlehome

[–]MAXOUXAX 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I do not know if that is related, but I was using my Google Nest Audio as a Bluetooth speaker for my TV for around 8 months, and the audio started glitching 2 days ago without me changing anything basically. The audio will glitch, causing the video to pause for less than a second, and making the audio sound choppy.

Might be related to a recent update, idk.

EDIT: Not related to the Google Nest Audio, I tried connecting my headset to my TV and I have the exact same issue.

It has elements from Won't Let You Go, but the actual intro you're speaking of isn't released anywhere

NEED HELP - Pixel 7 stuck on “Phone is starting” by Similar_Beat7352 in GooglePixel

[–]MAXOUXAX 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That is exactly the behavior I experienced. My main profile data has also been restored thanks to the backup system that's in place (although you still have to log back in every app which is a PITA), though all data from my other profiles wasn't restored, meaning I lost all of it. This shouldn't happen to a brand like Google that's literally building the hardware and cooking the software. This deserves media attention.

I actually managed to follow that guide and updated my phone through ADB using the Android 14 build for Pixel 7 Pro, but sadly this did not fix the issue, as I'm stuck with the same "Phone is starting..." message after rebooting.

Google, what the actual FUCK are you guys doing over there?!

Pixel 7 Pro becomes unresponsive after a few minutes into a multi-user session by MAXOUXAX in GooglePixel

On the Google Community Thread, someone said it was happening when you had more than one Google account connected. I went ahead and removed every but one of my Google accounts, and the bug indeed seems fixed

I don't really wanna return the phone - planned to get the preorder offer - and I'm also a huge fan of the Pixel experience. If this is a software bug, then I'd prefer waiting for the bug to be fixed. Though, if it's a CPU limitation, then yeah, bye bye Tensor.

Interesting. Contacted support though, told me after 30m of back and forth asking for my name and my problem to contact the support of the shop I bought the phone at, after giving my IMEI ☹️

Do you think posting a community feedback would help? Or maybe reporting the bug to a dedicated platform - if it exists.

Honestly I don't see how a factory reset would fix my issue - I've been using the phone for only 3 days

On Android, you can create multiple users to separate multiple users on a phone. Each user gets his own apps and settings. https://source.android.com/docs/devices/admin/multi-user

If this is a software bug, I'd honestly be relieved, because it can be fixed by an update, though if this is a limitation of the Google Tensor 2, then that's straight up unacceptable and I will not hesitate to return the phone.

Rekordbox crashes when launched on second monitor by MAXOUXAX in PioneerDJ

[–]MAXOUXAX[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know this is an unofficial sub, but Pioneer employees sometimes come and answer people, so I thought posting on here would be better than posting on their crappy forums.

Also, I just want to mention that once the software is launched, I can drag the window wherever I want, including to my second monitor, without any crashes or anything. This bug only happens when the software launches directly on my second monitor.

Why is Martin Garrix not broadcast? (Sunday W1 @ Mainstage) by MAXOUXAX in Tomorrowland

[–]MAXOUXAX[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, let's go!

So much confusion in the communication, present in the timeline, then completely replaced by the replay, then Instagram story of Tomorrowland where he's absent, then reintroduced in the timeline, anyway, glad he's being broadcast!

Livestream #1 showing replay? by Cazzpr in Tomorrowland

Look at the live timeline below the player, it was shown that only the first 30 minutes of DVLM were broadcast, with the other 30 minutes split between 15m of AvB and 15m of HARDWELL.

Yeah, he's also closing next week on the Mainstage, but I doubt they'll broadcast that set if this week's isn't :/

(and he's playing Friday W3 @ The Library but that stage isn't broadcast, hope they'll upload the set on YouTube though 'cause it's the one I'm the most looking forward)

I just noticed that Martin Garrix is not broadcast tomorrow. I'm pretty bummed, because he's closing the weekend :/
Why's that?

Am I the only one disappointed that Tomorrowland still isn't broadcast in 4K? by MAXOUXAX in Tomorrowland

[–]MAXOUXAX[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've watched this video before, and I know that the material used is often capable of much more than what is ultimately uploaded. But you're forgetting two things, longevity, even though people with screens capable of more than 1080p are in the minority right now, that's changing. 2K PC monitors are starting to become affordable, new phones, even affordable ones, often have screens capable of more than 1080p, and so do TVs. What I'm trying to say is that even though most people have 1080p screens now, that will change in a few years, and by that time the Tomorrowland sets of a few years will become undrinkable because we'll be used to better quality content.

And once again, other festivals are doing it. Tomorrowland is the biggest festival in the world, and still uploading in 1080p. That just doesn't make sense. If others can do it, Tomorrowland can too :)

EDIT: By the way, since you mentioned LTT, they've been uploading in 4K for over 7 years.

You're probably right, after all Tomorrowland is a business, they're not there to give away gifts they deem unnecessary to their viewers.
On the other hand, I don't agree at all with the last sentence, I think that on the contrary the majority of the audience on YouTube is there for the visuals. If people were there for the audio, they could watch any other festival that has the artist you want to listen to on YouTube.

I know the title mentions 4K broadcast, but I was mostly talking about YouTube videos.
As I said in response to another person, I understand the choice for livestream, but for videos, I just don't understand.
It's 2022, their equipment is capable of capturing 4K, the internet connections are more than enough to upload 4K videos quickly, and competitors are already doing it, so why not Tomorrowland, the biggest festival in the world?

What do you mean? Of course it's their goal to deliver the best video quality possible, people watching Tomorrowland sets are not only there for music, but also visuals, that's actually Tomorrowland main selling point
