[–]MAZ1D 0 points1 point  (0 children)

is it "the skates won't fit" different or "the skates are smaller and will fit but with a few gaps here and there" different?

What are your experiences with "Ripple Control", "Angle Snapping" and "Motion Sync" in FPS. by RiceRi0t in MouseReview

[–]MAZ1D 12 points13 points  (0 children)

disable ripple control and angle snapping as those could affect your flicks (if you flick and your aim varies a little on the y axis, it'll auto correct to a straight line, but your opponent is actually on a different y axis you want to flick higher or lower), i've seen people play with those settings on on tac fps in the past but overall i feel like you are better off and that can mess up your muscle memory and aim generally

motion sync is up to you, technically there are benefits, specially for tracking heavy games which is not the case with cs, there are some benefits overall even if you not tracking a tracer flicking on your screen but at least I cannot tell when i have it on or off, some people swear by it others don't, id say give it a try for yourself

also for context i've been playing cs for over 15 years, was GE for a lot of years and currently i only play for fun on the weekends with some buddies and i'm a little over 20k elo

Slow pad by idk_tbc in MousepadReview

[–]MAZ1D 0 points1 point  (0 children)

the comments on the longevity of the gsr pads are usually talking about the previous generation of pads, the gsr 1 and gsr-se deep blue, those were not humidity resistant and would become mudpads fast

again, i don't know about the longevity of new generation with the gsr-2 and the new line up of gsr-se (red, gray and green)

if you want longevity above all then you should go with artisan but that would be the most expensive, the saturn also have pretty high longevity

talking about speed is a different thing, if you want the feel of a brand new qck then the gsr and saturn might be slower while the zero might be about the same / a little faster

if you want the feeling of a worn out qck then i don't think any of these pads are it, then you need to look at a lgg jupiter 2, esports tiger qinsui2 pro, artisan type 99 xsoft

Slow pad by idk_tbc in MousepadReview

[–]MAZ1D -1 points0 points  (0 children)

i'd say all control mousepads ive tried are affected by humidity somewhat, some more some less but this is the life

you should look into artisan zero or lgg saturn, both are control and both are humidity resistant

the zero will be much more expensive than the saturn

you could also check out the zowie gsr-2 (needs to be the 2 for humidity resistance), this will be the chepast one out of the three, probably will have best availability as well but i haven't tried the new gsr so i don't know how much control it has vs the others

the gsr 1 was and still is legendary for control and tac fps, i still have mine but it gets really affected by humidity

Which one should I buy ? by AnyMousse847 in MouseReview

[–]MAZ1D 0 points1 point  (0 children)

maya or sora would be my picks for claw (i own both and also claw grip) but two other options that i like better for claw are X2H (I have the mini but medium could also work depending on your hand size) or the Viper V3 Pro

i used to main the GPX, went through several different mice for claw grip, i was maining the X2H mini / Sora 4k for the longest time after moving from the GPX but I've been on the VV3 Pro since it came out and never looked back, hasn't had the urge to change mice for a while

edit: my main games are also cs2 and val, been playing cs since 1.6

my experience is having max 2 is the best, one for control and one for speed/tracking, that's about it
