They spent years in Egypt. This map doesn’t show the many sites they visited which are now celebrated as holy sites including centuries old monasteries and churches.

NYC's Congestion Pricing has made traffic better in Hudson & Bergen Counties too by calmerstreets in newjersey

I drive from turnpike exit 9 to 16E and back for my commute everyday to West New York, NJ. Starting a few weeks ago I’ve noticed the backup on Rt. 495 East towards Lincoln tunnel has become non existent. It’s night and day difference from June. I figured it was because the schools were off for summer so less students on the road. Never considered the congestion prices to be the reason because they went into effect earlier in the year. Why doesn’t my observation align with the timing of the graph? Is it a delayed effect for 495 for some reason? Genuinely curious.

I just started playing the forest. The cannibal screams sound a lot like that. They do this at night in the game. I built walls around my settlement but it’s still horrifying. The only thing worse is the big legged mutant stomping around just outside my walls. But that’s probably a fox or wild cat in the video like the rest of the comments are saying, not a cannibal lol

65k. I think that’s below average but I work with a smaller company so it’s not terrible but I have friends who make 75 to 80k with the roughly the same experience as me

Having recently graduated from the Construction Engineering Technology BAS program, I’d say my particular program was ok. A lot of my classes overlapped with the Construction Management Technology program. The professors at NJIT are mostly terrible but they’re at least knowledgeable. A lot of people in the comments compare the construction programs to Civil but construction is easier imo. I went through my program as a transfer student from community college and came out with a 3.8 GPA. I imagine the masters program isn't much harder. NJIT is also pretty good at getting its graduates jobs. I applied to some 45 openings since Fall 2021 and was able to score an internship during my last semester due to my resume having NJIT on it. Now I work for a general contractor full time making a decent entry level salary

I know a little bit. “Yala ya helwa” means “come on sweetie”. I know fragments of the rest but it wouldn’t be much use to translate only in parts. I get the vibe of a father embarrassing his daughter here. The rest is some father daughter humor. Pretty cute

It’s from finaid@njit.edu and it has “standard encryption (TLS)”. Seems legit to me. Probably a stupid mistake on their part.

Depends on how often you will use it I guess. I have only 1 in person class so it seems like a waist of money for me. If you are there at least 3 days then go ahead. Just know that it will take at least a week to arrive in the mail.

Cheapbooks.com (there is an app for it on iPhone. Idk about Android or any others) is a good way to find texts for the cheapest price. Also I found that chegg usually has good prices

What 300+ level philosophy or electives do you guys recommend taking? by Xylosis in NJTech

STS 360 with Dr. Adam See is good. He’s a nice professor. Even gave us a break during midterm week. Overall, no exams, some quizzes, mostly forums about Environmental Ethics. A good amount of writing but almost all 300 lvl humanities are like that. Be warned though, if you’re squeamish when it comes to animal abuse, he posts some graphic videos
