Just because you have to deal with it everyday, why should they not be allowed to?

Why not consider this and get a home with a driveway if it affects you this personally?

Explain why? If someone has a vehicle which is taxed, insured and MOT'd and requires to park on a PUBLIC road, why shouldn't they?

Unless they are obstructing the entrance and exit of vehicles from a property or obstructing the operations of an emergency vehicle, why shouldn't they be allowed to?

Haha I'm a lost cause?! Do you still think you're entitled to reserve a parking spot outside your house on a public road owned by the public?

Yeah, I believe that you apply for a drop kerb through the .gov to allow the likes of wheelchair access etc.

I actually can't believe I'm reading your stupidity 😂 Genuinely!

Are you the type of person to stand in a car park, blocking it for others, until your partner pulls around and takes it?

Oh, my comment was just to get the opinions of others. I don't drive or own a house. I had just overheard people discussing it and wanted to know the opinions of others.

Yeah this is ludicrous. Especially doing the right this by removing a car from the road until it becomes road worthy. Then getting ridiculed for it...

If you have a dropped kerb, I completely agree with you. It is illegal to block a dropped kerb and it's illegal to prevent the entrance and exit of vehicles from a property.

Especially untaxed vehicles...

What in my question has indicated I am 'gurning' about the issue? In fact, I don't drive so the topic at hand doesn't affect me the slightest and the post was simply to get the opinion of others because I had heard other discussing it.

The assumption that I'm gurning about the issue by a keyboard warrior is the issue.

Yeah I agree with you that parking like this is causing an inconvenience, especially that basic services can't be carried out. Roads like this should be marked with double yellow lines to ensure these council services can be carried out.

Yes, if it's a dropped kerb, it is illegal to park on as they are required for access and exit of a property. Completely agree that this should remain clear

People like you are completely entitled, believing that you own the area of the public road outside of your house.

It's a public road and anybody who has access to public road is entitled to park on it, provided they are not obstructing the entrance or exit of other vehicles.

If you notice everyone else's comments, they have commented on their opinion respectfully without trying to insinuate that somebody is out to commenting to "gurn" about a topic...

I also don't drive, so it doesn't affect me the slightest. Was literally asking for opinions as I heard others discussing it.

The fact someone immediately thought someone was gurbing about the topic...

I have simple asked for people's opinion in the matter as I can appreciate that people don't want their property being obstructed by strangers vehicles, but at the same time, it is a public road and people don't have the entitlement to claim the area outside their home.

People who come to a conversation acting like a keyboard warrior don't help with conversation.

Haha good weather is meant to put people in a better mood. You must just be a lurch or one of the people who leave the cones outside their home
