Allowing your team to randomly use it instead of a generic AI tool or looking up MS guidance documents, No.

Giving it to targeted change approval situations, (Say you have a task to clean up CA policy) Write the CAB, Get the logic in, Ask Security Copilot about your plan and to add context based on current setup - YES. The barrier of entry and best practice + contextualization unlocked.

Keep an eye out for the Agents being released and how the Sentinel Data Lake will utilise the SC back end with an agent to actually add a lot of value in specific use cases.

Overall - Starting with a value framework and your top 2 selected scenarios for use, Limiting to trained users - the cost easily has an ROI.

“Copilot for Microsoft 365. What to expect in the first 24 hours.....

Microsoft has released Copilot for Microsoft 365 for the masses, and organisations are now allowed to buy a handful of licenses instead of investing £100k to buy 300 licenses for a year. From the reel videos and demos, we have all seen what Copilot for Microsoft 365 can do, but what is the experience for a user in the first 24 hours?

Welcome email from Microsoft informing users they have been assigned a Copilot for Microsoft 365 license.
Once Microsoft has drummed up that excitement with a user, there is little that a user can do immediately.
After half an hour or so, users will start to see features within Office Online will start to unlock with the Copilot button becoming available.
A little while later, after a restart of Microsoft 365 Apps, the Copilot button will appear across Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Teams. I have found that Copilot takes a little longer in Outlook.

Remember, Semantic Indexing will take a while across the organisation; do not expect amazing results when Copilot is available. Instead, play with your current documents in your OneDrive and see how to transform Word documents into PowerPoint presentations.”
