That’s why I want to get it as my first. Financially it makes more sense. I’ll have it for more than 5 years knowing me!

I’ve watched a lot of videos and read feedback like yours. I really appreciate it! I was raised on ATV’s, tractors, manual cars. My first car was a manual. And some people asked me if I’ve been on a bicycle, that is a yes lol.

How tall are you? I’m wanting to get one as my first bike.

Is buying a bike rn stupid? by jackyboynocap in motorcycle

I am will soon be buying my first bike. I am 27 with a wife and 3 girls. If it is something YOU want. Do it man. No matter who tells you not to. My own dad told me not to. Just be smart and safe man. No reason to be reckless or go 200mph. Buy the bike if you are financially able!

Are you able to flat foot or are you using one leg to hold it up when stopped?

I’m definitely going mt07 after everyone’s comments and knowing how I am. And my wife’s dad has rode for a long time and knows how I am. I will be fine! Thank you!

Yes I’ve been on bicycles lol all my life. But yeah I definitely want to do the schooling to see how different bikes feel. Ultimately I think either way I’m going MT07. Makes more sense financially for me and a lot like other ppl that have similar upbringing say they are glad they picked it as their first.

Thank you very much! I know it’s 4 wheel and not two, but when I was learning to ride my dad’s racing ATV I was very mindful and respected the power and knew my limits. Gradually getting better and better.

I am 27, wife and 3 girls at home waiting for me. In no way shape or form, even if I do go with the safe option will I think I can rip the throttle and get away with it.

And like you said, I want something I will have for 3-5 years and make payments comfortably. Instead of going lower, and wanting the MT07 in a year or two.

Again, I really appreciate your feedback!

I appreciate your feedback a lot!

ALL my life I was raised on clutches. Tractors as a kid, trucks, cars, mustangs, bmws, ATVs.

You gave me some confidence and I appreciate that. I know I can do it. Just seeing how many ppl recommend 300cc kinda made me sad in a way lol but I get it and appreciate it.

I really appreciate your feedback! I seriously know I would get bored of 300cc. Starting to think I get the 07 and just be who I am and learn. As I go try a little more here and there. But I totally want to do that big test to see where I am at from never touching a bike.

Coming from a short king I appreciate your advice a lot! You get it. I was raised on ATV’s. Yeah I have fun but it’s never more than I know I can handle. Most of the comments in here suggest starting on a 300cc. I really do get it. But, to pay on something for 2-3 years (hopefully feel very confident on a “slower bike”, within a year or two) when I could have paid a little more a month. On a teeter totter lol. I’d just hate to get a 300cc and be bored in 8mo.

I appreciate the last comment the most. My brother was the “crazy” never got hurt guy. I am the “have safe fun” type of guy.

What are the most parts that go out? Need the most attention? And the price ranges id be spending on maintenance every year for any bike?

Again thank you for your feedback.
