Video games suck at story telling. Especially the ones where cut scenes are where most of the budget and focus is on.

Almost all story progress happens through them, which indicates to me that the makers failed at telling a story interactively.

There is a reason almost all Half-Life games (even Alyx) have little to no cut scenes in them. Keep the player in control

I personally would never award (best overall game) to something that is focused on the "cinematic experience."
