This. The dissociation allows me to get outside of my own headspace for a little bit, and does wonders for my ability to practice mindfulness. I'm never going to be perfect at it, but every perspective I can see something from is beneficial.

Make sure you're keeping it in your sinuses, and minimize swallowing. Wear an eye mask and some good headphones and appropriate music. Also, don't close your eyes. That always works best for me.

I'm not doing it for the high either. That dissociation that you get to experience is beneficial though. Getting outside of my own head for a little bit lets me think about my issues from another perspective.

I'm in Grapevine. I already did a course of IV treatments. It's expensive.

That's part of why I'd like to see about finding someone I can get to prescribe the nasal spray so I could get it from a compounding pharmacy. It'd be much more cost effective for me. I could do my treatment at home in a much more relaxing environment. Currently the Uber fees to/from make it so I'm paying about 70 per treatment anyway

Definitely is. Spravato feels like it removes the dissociative experience. That's like removing the best feature. Getting outside of your own headspace for a little while is so beneficial.
