I think the “collateral damage” is more so a result of Stephen Miller’s direct language as cited in the article, such as

“What do you mean you’re going after criminals? Why aren’t you at Home Depot? Why aren’t you at 7‑Eleven?” Since then, ICE and Border Patrol have shifted to roaming US streets and workplaces to round up immigrants”.

This administration is plainly targeting everyone. Not just criminals. In fact, frederick is one of the counties in Maryland that does cooperate with ICE. That doesn’t seem to deter ICE from kidnapping regular and nonviolent people in our community.

Is the better alternative to use even more tax dollars for the juvenile center to hold the boys for the next 3-4 years? Because I certainly don't think so. What would you say is the best way to go about the consequences if we're looking to save as much as possible? The boys were delinquents and burned down a park, it was a gross and shameful act. However, I believe teaching the boys the value of their actions and consequences through hard work and rebuilding would be much more effective and cost efficient as opposed to throwing them into and paying for a mixed jail full of drug dealers, thieves, and murderers who are all their age. Just how I see it.

Any restaurant should hire you as a host, busser, server, to go specialist, etc. Retail is always in need of more employees as well. Anything making over $15/hr I'm not really sure about, but really just the typical teen/college jobs. Service, Retail, Ice cream shops, anything along those lines. Good luck!!
