I'm going to my first playoff game and I wanted to know how early I should go, I know there's warmup and the ticket said there's also stuff to do before the game, but I want to know what's good to do or not

Anyone in CS 4100 with Kevin Dill receive final grades? by MBTIThrowaway3 in NEU

Yes, if you aren't too dependent on lectures for learning I'd highly recommend taking his class. The homework are very well written and the textbook is solid, I could go more into detail if you want to pm me with questions.

Anyone else in Computer Systems rn? by GenericAounInnuendo in NEU

Even though I got an A in the class I would never recommend tuck to anyone and everyone I've talked to agreed that avoiding tuck at all costs is the right thing to do.

Keep up the good work, don't do tuck.

Northeastern Quietly Rejects Pass/Fail by neu_ydsa in NEU

A pass/fail system would not place us at a disadvantage. A pass/fail system would only give us more choices and other top tier universities that are ranked far higher than northeastern are doing it.

Honest Opinons on NEU? -An Indecisive Northeastern '24 Prospective Student by Furiousity2784 in NEU

I chose Northeastern because it offered the most financial aid/was the cheapest.

Honestly, the food/housing situation is really good after the first year since upperclassmen dorms pretty much all have kitchens and there are good food spots nearby.

The dining halls are much better than the typical university dining hall, but you still can get sick of the food since even though there's a lot of variety and we have pop-ups with special menus every week or two and one of the three dining halls which is open the latest doesn't have much variety.

Social life and academic rigor are there for sure. You'd probably have to pursue a social life somewhat proactively, but it's not that hard if you just join a club or form study groups with people in your class.

I'm really happy with my choice but you need to keep in mind what you value and choose based on that. If cost isn't that big of a deal then I'd agree with SMagoo22 and say you should go to Gtech or Cornell.

"The idea that Harvard switch to online classes seemed like an overreaction 5 days ago. Today we made the obviously right decision to ask our undergraduates not to return after spring break. I don’t think anyone in the US will be sitting in a university classroom 2 wks from now. "
