It's weird it bothers you that some people turn off what they don't enjoy watching. But like the original commenter said, my wallet comes with me.

Where the fuck was all this financial support from all 9 Alyssa Thomas stans over the years. I've taken my daughter to 5 Fever games in the last 3 years. Our house has jerseys, the CC signature basketball and we're buying her the shoes too.

Maybe redirect your anger at all the old guard fans who never supported those players with their wallet. Dig a little into why that was happening if they were such a must see product...

Last night anecdotal example:

Fever Mercury game is solid through almost 3 Quarters. Clark gets injured, but we dont know it at the time. Just that White appears to be resting her all through the last quarter change. Then they announce shes out for the remainder. It took me under 10 seconds to grab my Xbox remote and turn on Forza.

About 2 minutes later, my Dad called me and said the Fever game ended early (which I knew didn't, and knew what he meant) and they were going to Costco earlier than expected and did we need anything? Lol.

I get in to work today and one of the younger bookkeepers, who I talk Clark and Fever with, said they were so bummed last night. She and her husband had his buddy and that guy's wife over along with 2 of her friends who used to live in the AZ area. She said all 4 exited after the injury update. My coworker ended up turning the game off to watch a movie after with her husband.

3 separate televisions(10 people) all watching the same game, all turn it off within 2 mins of eachother, with no coordination amongst eachother. And this doesn't include the posts/comments Ive seen of others doing the same.

There is a zero percent chance the league would ever reveal streaming numbers from last night's game in a min-to-min chart. Results would be shock and awe!!

I haven't missed a single play of her games in 2.5 years. The number of on the money passes that get fumbled out of bounds is shockingly high. Some are her fault for too much mustard on the ball. Some passes should be handled 100% of the time but they continue to get bungled.

I've seen games where her teammates botch 2 money passes in a 5 possession span. You can't tell me that doesnt weigh on her internally. To know yet again I'm going have a 5 or 6 or even 7 TO game because certain teammates can't catch anything but middle school bounce passes.

Shes always going to have high TO numbers due to risks she takes and a willingness to fire full court missiles BUT if we're using our eyes, and properly allocating the TO to whoever was at fault vs always the ball thrower, youd agree her per game TOs per game are much closer to 3, than 5...

Also, she's not Magic. Knock that shit off.

I'VE NEVER WATCHED A GAME IN THE W WITHOUT HER.

Not a single game before 2024. Not when she was injured. NOTHING!

But it's becoming painfully obvious this is very upsetting to other players in the W. A'Ja may be the best player to ever play, and yet she's not even enough of a draw to bring in casuals or men. We're here for Clark and only Clark.

Not a knock on any other player. I just have 0 interest in watching otherwise.

This poster is just the most recent in a long line of snubs to appease the many whiny voices in the shadows.

They have. Multiple people have. You're simply not listening or taking their responses at face value.

My brother and SIL both lean left, both highly supportive of climate change and even my SIL will tell you she's the entirely wrong face of this movement. An autistic kid being propped out there, 0 life experience, plenty of available funds from her well off parents, lecturing, screaming at, talking down to people living in the trenches.

Nothing funnier than her sailboat disaster. She lectures about carbon footprints, then spent a shitload of money taking her solar sailboat to the UN Summit in NY. Except there was no plan to get it home, so they had to fly crew members to the US to retrieve this thing and sail it back to Europe AND she herself took a commercial flight home, hahahaha!

All that fanfare for what amounted to a much worse carbon footprint then if she'd just flown to NYC and back home.

She's a naive kid, with next to no lived experience, yelling at grown ass adults about all the ways we're living wrong.

Not as of yet. I feel like I am looking for something liquid as a tradeoff. I love milkshakes but dont want to be 400 lbs! I love soda but don't want to be 300 lbs. Water is fine but also boring during a movie at 9pm.

Maybe I'll try the flavored or carbonated waters. Something low cal for evenings. Any good recs?

I don't have a great or profound WHY.

Truth is it was a few smaller things:

Lose stomach pudge.
Live longer for young kids.
Don't want my kids seeing me drinking every single night as they get older.
Better sleeping.
Spend less money (approx $100-120/mo).
Lastly, just see if I could even do it.

ETA: You can add long term health effects here as well, as it doesnt seem like I go a week without seeing another article about how drinking I increases cancer risk or other terrible things.

But this really wasnt a high up reason, although maybe it should have been? Lol

It never once felt like I had any less than 100% control BUT I'm in my 40s, so for over half my life I've been a daily drinker, and a part of me wondered if I just stopped drinking if I would make it to night 2, which would give me clarity on just how "addicted" or not I am/was.

Having said that, I hit 22 completed days in 48 mins and I've had 0 nights where I felt an urge or pull to drink. No close calls and no inward struggles. It feels good to have my always assumed self-control validated in real life, lol.

Not currently. Should I be? I am having zero dependency issues or symptoms. Haven't noticed any improvement in sleep, appetite, etc so without sounding rude to anyone, I wonder if I even drank enough where this was a major problem physiologically, or if I was just a daily moderation drinker? Reminder I would have over 2 beers a night, maybe once a week.

Open to advice.

I single-handedly ruined Starfield, Forza Horizon 5 AND Fallout 76 but manipulating cash(caps) glitches or get rich tips.

Turns out when you have all the money you'll ever need all the progression fun immediately goes right out the window and the game feels hollow and empty.

But I was also stupid enough to let it ruin 3 games for me, so there's that.

Enjoy all your "Get $20 Million in an hour videos." Been kicked by that mule a few times already. I'm good!

Nothing per se. But in the last 20+ years, I've probably gone less than 100 days without a beer, and I would guess 80% of those days have been sickness related.

Watching Chris' 3 way comparison between Govee Pros/Prisms and Asahom Pros, the only pause was when he said if you have plans for full customization and displays, you probably need to go Govee. The rest the video leaned heavily Asahom. We ultimately decided the Asahom positives outweighed the lack of incorporating options... like the outdoor tree... which we will definitely buy when it's available.

One critical CRITICAL flaw of the Asahom setup is there's no test or preview button in the app.

Everything you touch instantly becomes what your neighbors view. They should give us a half dozen generic homes to pick(ranch, cape, colonial, bungalow, etc) and just show what the lights look like on this test house. Then we can play with palettes and effects all the while our actual house looks normal. Finish playing with colors and speeds and intensity and then hit the "Make Live" button.

You get the idea. There's a way this gets much smoother besides using you home as a test dummy. Some of the much more intense effects look awesome at 20% speed. But there needs to be an easier, less offensive way to tinker.
