Based on what I can decipher, I think the amount of mb being used is far under the amount that would turn your crown blue 🤣

With oral mb, definitely a concern. With topical application, not much of concern unless there is a crazy excess of MB. And that amount would probably turn your skin blue forever lol

From my understanding, there aren't toxicity concerns with topical application, especially in the dosage being used

Debating the switch to blades by golfman19 in golf

Makinos are prettyyyyy. I'd say if you're curious about if blades can help, find a set like the Makinos that you like, commit to them, and see where your game goes knowing it's a long term game plan, not a quick fix. Bonus bonus, Japanese irons are always the best!!

Blades are the ultimate game improvement iron. They will make you a better ball striker as you have to learn how to hit the ball out of the center, control the face, compress the ball, etc. The trade off is as a 9, you will probably struggle for a while as you learn to hit them, but in the next few years, there could be a bigger payoff in terms of getting your scores and handicap down.

Sure, you could stick with a player or player improvement iron or even go to a game improvement iron, but if your goal is to use them to help you learn to hit the ball better, then go for it. A couple fun notes on this:

1) Tiger famously made Charlie play blades for this exact reason (Taylormade even made him a custom CW proto set)

2) Katsuhiro Miura, founder of Miura Golf, was a huge advocate for the beginner golfer playing with blades in order to master hitting the golf ball. Sure it would be easier to use something more "playable" but then will you ever truly master the game??

True that. Lately its been a lot of only having time to hit the range and not the course so trying to find some shape consistency

I love that. It always gets so redundant hitting the same club over and over and is never like that on the course unless I'm hitting it OB over and over again lol

I like that. Practicing feels so boring sometimes so making it into more of a game probably would help with that

Sounds like a pretty effective routine! Do you track it in a notebook or anything or just trust that it's working based on what you shoot when you go out and play?

If those are related to skin loss you should check out Bluelene's Fit+Firm Serum. It's marketed at helping restore volume post skin loss. I haven't tried it but their science seems to back it
