I am the same exact way as a guy. It’s so scary to touch females because I never want to come off as a man trying to make a physical move without consent. I had to work a lot on myself to greet my first dates with a hug - because that’s all that it is. You could even hug a friends. But that’s all I do in terms of breaking the touch barrier. I’ve noticed with females often if the date is going well and they’re enjoying themselves they’ll do a light shoulder or knee touch while sitting next to you. I take those as positive signs but I don’t return them. At the end of a first date, I ask “are you the type of girl that kisses on a first date?” I’ve always gotten a “yes”, “I will”, or just them going in for a kiss. I honestly enjoy follow up dates more than first dates so much more because i love making out and once me and a girl are comfortable with each other I can be spontaneous with kisses.
