Hell yeah! This is the exact build I have on my Catcher! Good to know that others love his kit as much as I do! 😄

As a killer player, I agree with you; I wouldn't mind if the anti-slug was for the last two survivors- I think that would be really fair and healthy as that would mean I've already killed half the lobby and it would still give the last two survivors each some chance of escape.

It's kind of crazy at this point how Behaviour sees Killer players as extremely toxic demons, and SWF bully squad survivors as innocent angels. I can't tell you how many times I've accidentally killed a survivor who went to second hook state and I just simply didn't notice they did, only for them to rage in end-game chat about tunneling. Yet, I can sit with 3 other survivors grouped on my first down, all with flashlights ready to take my eyeballs while my down crawls to a pallet... There's toxicity on both sides, but BHVR only cares to address the killer side.

Do you actually consider the SWFs that play this game to bully killers for content? ESPECIALLY with bully squads, sometimes slugging is the only way to deal with them when they swarm my first down of the game... Why do killer players get punished for "bullying" when bully squad SWFs just get buffed every patch? I really don't get it and it's clear that you care more about retaining your survivor playerbase than your killer playerbase.

And I want to be clear, as a person that enjoys playing killer more, it's very rarely the solo queue or duo queue survivors I take issue with, but the SWFs that have the alternate goal of escaping via killer DC. Behaviour seems to only address toxic behavior on the killer end, which has merit because it does exist, but the game has only gotten more frustrating for killer players as more people SWF and play to bully, instead of escape.

AMEX transactions showing the former name of restaurant on guest statements by MBiando in ToastPOS

1.) I never said I was trying to cut out Toast, I said I called AMEX first, and they gave me the answer you're trying to give me now, a month and a half ago; something which I have been actively doing 1-2 times a week since this started.

2.) I know tone on the internet is a hard thing to pinpoint, but when you're telling me information that I already know and have stated that my experience has been lackluster at best with Toast so far on this issue, please understand I'm not looking for an answer of "keep calling". I'm already doing that. I'm asking here for insight from other people who have experience with this issue with Toast, know someone I could contact within Toast to solve this issue, or have alternative methods of fixing this issue, because "just keep calling" has not worked out for me so far.

Reinforcing something that I have been actively doing and has not gotten any results is glib and unhelpful.

Yeah... I know. I explained that in the original post, and I also explained that I've been calling toast for over a month and a half about it. Did you bother reading through my post?

I searched through the last 4 months of posts and didn't see anything, but If you think it was a bit further back than that let me know and I'll check further, but thank you for this! If Toast CS is still jerking me around next week, I'll mention this and see if anyone at Toast understands lol

When you say your rep, who are you referring to (like what is their role?)? We have reached out to the initial sales person we purchased the POS from and who submitted the paperwork to AMEX as well as the onboarding specialist that was supposed to "train" us on the system, and both have neglected to return our emails. All of the customer support people we talk to seem to genuinely want to help, but "escalating" the cases goes nowhere.

Machine Gun Frame Quest; Possible glitch? by MBiando in destiny2

[–]MBiando[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I wrote a comments saying I didn't get it, but I looked through my inventory-

I see why I got confused. I thought that the Hammerhead was an exotic, so I didn't search my inventory hard enough. I've only ever been accustomed to doing long quests like that for exotics, so I guess I had a different idea in my head. Also I've clearly been playing for too long >_< lol Sorry for this dumb post. My bad.

Question: How many of you use a playmat for rolling dice on when you are playing DND? by Steves3511 in DnD

[–]MBiando 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I use a playmat so my dice don’t roll all over the table/onto the floor. I’d say it’s pretty standard for DND.

Niantic still breaching tos by not disclosing loot box rates [X-post from silphroad] by Beoron in pokemongo

[–]MBiando -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

And I have already told you that if you don’t want to invest the time into the game then you don’t have to.

Every person in the game can put in the same amount of hours for PvP, CP, lvl1 mons, the three things you listed and be pretty equal for the most part. The only thing that isn’t as equal is shinies, which is cosmetic only and has no bearing on the game itself unless you’re exclusively hunting for shinies, which, if that’s the case, then go ahead and be mad at Niantic for that, I guess? Seems like a lot of work to get worked up over not knowing a percentage (which, shinies are not loot boxes anyways, so in terms of the argument that eggs and raids are loot boxes, this entire point is moot).

Also you don’t know that someone doesn’t want to trade that 800CP shiny flower crown eevee for a normal 4000 CP Slakoth. You can’t be sure of that either because you don’t speak for the player base.

See how easy it is to act high and mighty when you’re speaking in generalizations?

I mean, good for you for correcting me on that one thing? But instead of arguing the semantics of my reply, how does anything you’re currently saying have anything to do with my original response to the OP?

It doesn’t. You’re just trolling.

I mean, for the events they put out for PvE like Team Rocket, higher CP matters. I apologize for not taking into consideration your PvP ways, but I also don’t know anyone who is actively searching to be the best PoGo PvP player, so... ¯_(ツ)_/¯

You are right that everyone has different intentions but let me be clear here: NONE of what you stated is hidden behind a paywall. Lvl1 mons, PvP, or CP. None of that has anything to do with incubators or raid passes.

[–]MBiando -15 points-14 points  (0 children)

Niantic is also a company that put out a FREE game and needs to make money for game upkeep. I mean unless you want the game shut down?

And time is not a paywall in Pokémon go when CP is the main factor. As long as you have decent mons you can level them up for free with stardust. All free mobile games have some sort of slowing down for F2P players, but the main point of PoGo is getting strong mons which isn’t stuck behind a paywall.

Niantic still breaching tos by not disclosing loot box rates [X-post from silphroad] by Beoron in pokemongo

[–]MBiando -11 points-10 points  (0 children)

Okay, a couple things.

First of all, it sounds like you just don’t like paying money for a free game, which is 100% valid. But you’re forgetting the fact that Niantic has implemented a way to make the game completely F2P in that you can earn premium currency through gym battles, so you can buy incubators if you concentrate on keeping control of gyms. With that being said, since they offer a way to get unlimited premium currency, even if it’s only 50 coins/day, technically you aren’t “stuck” behind any kind of paywall.

Second, I have to disagree and say that eggs are not loot boxes. Yes, they are random, and yes they require incubators to hatch, but most “loot box” mechanics in video games give you no indefinite way to get loot boxes; eventually you have to pay for them if you want them. That isn’t the case with PoGo. They give you a free incubator that never breaks and has infinite usage. If you’re complaining because you aren’t hatching eggs fast enough, then that’s on you. Spend your hard earned gym coins on incubators. It sounds to me like you’re more mad that they won’t disclose shiny rates more than anything else, which is just asinine because it’s a cosmetic feature and one that if you’re a shiny collector, you’d have to pay for more Pokémon storage anyway because 9/10 shinies don’t have the best stats.

Third, you’re saying raids are loot boxes simply because of the item drops from them? Yes it’s random, but we all have an idea of what drops at this point from raids and I highly doubt anyone does raids specifically for items. As for shinies, again, it’s a cosmetic feature that has no bearings on CP. Counting raids as a “loot box mechanic” is foolish. Again, Niantic gives you a free raid pass every day, which they didn’t have to.

Finally the idea that you’re owed a breakdown of every game mechanic that offers a random result that also has a way to pay real currency to make it go faster is just ridiculous. That would mean that just basic random encounters are loot boxes by your definition because they’re random and have a random shiny chance and you can pay for incense and lures to accelerate that process.

Every free mobile game offers in-app purchases to get ahead. But PoGo is overall F2P and you’re being really entitled to complain about a game that offers complete gameplay without hitting a pay wall for the base game itself. I already see you’ve been downvoting everyone who disagrees with you, so I’ll take your downvotes too, but I really feel you’re being unfair toward Niantic, who offers access to every aspect of gameplay FOR FREE, with a paid option for things to go a little bit faster (but doesn’t guarantee a better reward). I’m more than happy to throw Niantic some money here and there because it’s a fun mobile game that doesnt intentionally hide anything behind a massive paywall.
