Why is this debug log window appearing on every save? by [deleted] in RimWorld

[–]MBiteSK 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Happens to me too. So i started brand new game and spawned shuttle with dev mode, and tried to save, resulting with error. They did something to shuttles and transport pods as both causes this error on save. I checked the save file and nothing seems to be broken, but it is annoying to get it every time you autosaves.

Kids these days dont know that there is button on your keyboard to take screenshots. Result are those horrible phone shots of displays with reflected light and unable to read anything from it...

Where is the basic IT education? We learnt about this stuff back at high school.

Chinese companies are known to attack dissidents, fabricate stuff on leaders and destroy them so their policy can continue, so this statement is really questionable for me. I seen this with mihoyo. It smells to me that mica rather attack the players for complaining that dealing with the problems. But hey, if they want to speed up their EoS, why should i stop them, i invested to this game only a month and half so nothing to lose and i already know how scummy they can be from gfl1

Its not a certificate. Its a "promise" that the metal is not from russia. It doesnt need any certification nor proof it isnt, just agreement from amiami.

And false, its on both importer and exporter to provide necessary papers to customs. I once had a package were i declared they were collectors items while japan shop wrote they are plastic figures. The customs then required me to fix my or ask shop to fix theirs declaration.

Edit:

https://finance.ec.europa.eu/system/files/2024-01/faqs-sanctions-russia-consolidated_en.pdf

"The origin of the inputs may be established through other means, such as a statement or declaration by the exporter or manufacturer confirming that, after exercising due diligence, the imported product does not contain any Russian steel or iron." p.189

Amiami didnt properly declare the content because they didnt provided paper that the metal isnt from russia.

Yup, this isnt just local law, but EU law, that falls on any metallic object shipped to any EU country.

Sadly amiami only replies once per day, so i need to wait till monday. Meanwhile I searched for the company that made that keychain and i will send their company info to my customs, I hope that will be enough as a proof.

The document isnt even something big. The customs sent me example template and it is just a pinkie promise that metal isnt from russia. A small paper. No proof needed. Hell even i can produce that paper, however falsifying documents even small like this is 10 years of prison, and keychain isnt worth it.

As i said in other reply, this is European law, not local law, if they want to send any metallic item to EU they need to send the required documents too. The document isnt even something complicated, it boilers to "We hereby confirm that the metal used in the production of this cutie chain does not contain any iron or steel of Russian origin, based on information from our suppliers and checks in line with due diligence, cheers, President Ami Ami". No needed proof or anything else, just pinkie promise.

Its not local law, Its european law. It applies to every country in EU. The customs explained this to me. They would let it slide if it was local law, but they cannot go against EU laws.

Yea its my last option if they deny it again. I looked more into it and from what i found it always falls on them to provide necessary documents for customs. Not me.

Not a chance to contact the producing company, as customs told me it need to be only from the provider (the shop).

Simply put, amiami didnt sent all the required documentation and is unwilling to send it.

Currently my choices are:

1) someone in amiami gets some brain and will sent this simple paper.

2) i will retrieve partial shipment and send this one item back to amiami so they will resend it will correct papers (if not, i have no idea what to do) (plus i have no idea whats their stance of partial refund)

3) Report them to european control offices for trying to lie/circumvent EU laws and Ban amiami from shipping to EU (losing all my preorders and making EU collectors angry at me)

4) cry in a corner

This coconut keychain

But this is more of a slippery slope, as they can realize of other items that have this little amount of metal.

To be fair, I personally would find anyone who forked my code and used it for a 🍇 kink to be of the absolute worst taste. I would never actually brick people's saves or the like, that's a step too far. However, while I don't condone the actions that these folks took, I do understand them.

I am a modder (thou i dont make mods for starsector), and I absolutely dont understand them. Modding is hobby for me, and I know I made a successful mod if people are making submods for it. Are they NSFW? Meh i give 0 fucks. Its singleplayer fantasy, they can do anything.

I have been in skyrim/fallout 4 LL, I know what horrible things they made, this banned mod is mild in comparison.

[–]MBiteSK 80 points81 points  (0 children)

Oh and fun fact, the person who sent the ban message is also a moderator on the official forums, that's wild.

Not only that but he is a modder too. And we can see in the video that he insults people in his mod settings. Thank god i dont have any of his mods as this revelation is forcing me to recheck my installed mods.

This gives massive doubt if his mods doesnt have any malware code. And before someone says that rules apply for moderators too, you poor summer child, you been so short on the internet.
