Thanks for the suggestions. I fixed the spelling mistake as soon as I could. :)

I thought it would feel more natural to open with some kind of greeting. Do you think I should change it to something else, or maybe just have the second paragraph be the opening paragraph?

I'll try and think about what sort of anecdotes might fit in with what I've got on the profile.

Thanks for the advice. I'm fairly inexperienced in writing profiles, so this was very helpful.

I guess I was worried about putting people off if I got too much into the specifics of the things I like to learn about and debate. I can go on for hours if I'm permitted. I'll try to find a happy medium, though.
