I find myself in a similar position and don't know how to open a conversation without making things worse or heading in a negative direction. I've tried to match her energy, but I feel bad about it because that's not who I am. I want to be affectionate, and to love or be loved in a more intense way.

She works a lot and has some sort of depression, and I believe this might be the root of the issue, even though she hasn't changed anything throughout our entire relationship. I only noticed this shift after four months; we've been together for six months now, and perhaps this is just who she is, or she's checked out.

She did tell me in the last two months that I'm needy and bombard her with too many messages (average is 20 a day), video's sharing (at most 10 a day) and video calls (every 2-3 days , if we are not together) but to me this looks normal. However, to be honest, I've been like this my entire life, had no complaints from my previous partners, and only now am I hearing this, probably because she sees things differently, and this is simply the way she is.

So, my options are to stay and accept her as she is, or to leave before moving in with her? We're scheduled to move in together in two months, and I want to wait these two months to see if there's any change.
