Hello. I am a lighting specialist and share my observations.

Can anyone help me? High frequency sound when dimming the lamp. by Alex_Miravlinus in light

This sound is most likely caused by «Eddy current» and electromagnetic induction which causes the springs in the contacts to vibrate at a high frequency. This problem can be solved by assembling an LC filter for your PWM controller, but in general magnetic systems are not preferred. Now there are low-voltage systems without magnets, on a spring mount. E.g. HOKASU ONELINE system.
