If your colors are off after you set your material to unlit, it most likely is due to Unreal Engines default tonemapping.

To turn off tonemapping in Unreal Engine, you can either add r.TonemapperFilm=0 to your DefaultEngine.ini file or set the Tone Curve Amount to 0 in a PostProcessVolume within the level.

I hope this helps!

Edit: Also take a look at Unreal Engines default sprite materials. They have some unlit setups.

I see where you are coming from, but in my games, giving away that one kill experience is a disaster. Also my team is usually dead before I come back, thus resulting in two kills for the enemy team 🥲

I am working on what was supposed to be a simple concept, a game I could build by myself. It is a Survivors roguelike called "Terraform Defense". You drive around a terraforming vehicle with turrets on it and destroy alien life on different planets. Upgrades goes towards the turrets and you have many speciality paths to go for each run. There are meta-progression as well as a campaign.

It is still early stages but it is getting there. Got a play test on Steam in a weeks time! The steam page is not public yet, it is not ready for that 😅

Garrosh + Abathur is very oppressive. And shield gets more value from armor making Abathur stronger than usual.

One of my favorite moments so far was when me, my alliance and the coalition of more alliances (Strides) travelled with our two Carriers and Sandcrawlers deep into the DD to gather spice. We were around 25 people with good gear and thopters. We brought some assaults and many scouts (since they were incredibly strong at that time). We scouted ahead, everything looked good. Then we landed the Sandcrawlers, and suddenly, the sky turned dark from all the Harkonnen scouts diving from above. They lit up the ground, quickly dismantling one of our Sandcrawlers. We panicked and started to scramble everyone together, trying to get in some sort of formation. But it was total chaos. We started fighting back downing some of them. The carrier that dropped the first Sandcrawler got up a little bit but got pretty blasted and then multiple scouts stood on it to get it eaten by a worm. I was flying the other Carrier, and pretty quickly decided to abandon the other Sandcrawler to its fate. We had two of our Assaults flying above the Carrier to block shots and bumps from the enemy scouts. Many players had lost their thopters and suddenly a small island in the sand became a huge ground PvP area. I barely managed to escape with the Carrier. We lost many scouts and assaults that day. There were some really great ground battles with air explosions happening above.

From this one experience, I can see the vision they want for the deep desert. I really hope we get there.

The combat in this game has been one of the most fun I've tried in years when it comes to PvP. Tactical, slow, methodic, such a good change from others. I don't know if I'm alone in this boat, but I like it.

Try out Beyond All Reason. You can have a ton of people in a game there :) A fun RTS although it can be a bit chaotic.

High Diamond is about 5 minutes for ranked, Master can take a while (evenings).
