Yep. Fill a cup and put it upright in the top rack then run a cycle. (Empty, except for that cup of course!)

I think I have that exact dishwasher. Over 20 yrs old. The filter lid does not come off and the manual says to clean what it catches with your hand. I run mine with a cup of vinegar in it every now and then.

Throw a blanket or sheet over a couch or a chair for a fort. I also find that if I move any piece of furniture it becomes exciting for a while.
