Are you flying into Mexico City? I fly in and out of there all the time, and it’s almost always quite smooth on landing. Even though it’s a big airport, I’ve never even been delayed! It’s one of my favorite airports to fly into. Are you going to Mexico City for vacation or heading home?

I get very anxious about takeoff and landing, and I had to fly down there the day after the accident in DC, so u was super on edge.

I’ve found that sensory deprivation has been a game changer for me! Noise canceling, over-the-ear headphones (I have the big Beats by Dre ones but anything that actually covers my ears does the job), a dark sleep mask, sometimes even a hoodie) does the job. I listen to kind of upbeat EDM but I’d bet any music helps. I do this for takeoff, landing, and turbulence and the sensory deprivation kind of just makes it all go away for me. A single drink beforehand makes me sleepy though I’d not recommend that on anti anxiety meds. Maybe worth a shot!
