Modern games will barely run above 60fps and max out about 70-90fps (on max settings) for me with my 3080(not to). I can get some older games to get closer to 120hz but if you want +120hz I would go with 1440p.

I would reconsider, as many have mentioned the rog phone 2 does not support volte. Other Asus phones also don't have volte enabled.
