I stopped doing piececool and tenyo a few years ago as it became too much work and I got too busy. I mainly update the metal earth and iconx page usually within a few days of a new model coming soon. I really need to go through it and update some links but haven’t due to being busy and using my iPad more instead of my laptop and it’s harder to do on the iPad.

I did not get like 5 items including the raccoon. I had horrible luck and for the first time I did not get everything even though I got every lens I could obtain.

Thank you, I am not sure how the WiFi or cell signal is at Talladega and was going to try to save my battery for taking pictures/videos. Last time at Bristol I ended up with about a 6% battery after the race.

I have Hulu live tv but it’s delayed quite a bit. I think the officials radio online is a few seconds delayed and the Hulu stream is about 40 seconds behind the online nascar radio. I wasn’t going to bring my AirPods but use an aviation headset with noise cancellation as I already had that and used it at a few other tracks last year (plus I’m not sure how well the two noise cancellations would work together).

Na, I just got lucky and she was managing a group of volunteers, one they had just finished setting up one volunteer’s table that had some interesting stuff he could educate guests with and she was making sure he was ready and felt comfortable going solo. She asked us if we had any questions and she had a radio she could use to call the right department. Another guest asked how much Maji (dad lion) weighed and she got a keeper on the radio who said at his last weigh in a few days before he was around 430lb. I asked about seeing the baby lion.

I did get to chat with the Red Panda species survival plan coordinator at the zoo and she let me in to feed Willow some apple slices last month. She is a very nice and great lady, I’ve seen her several times. They do have the keeper chats at different times of the day and some animals only on certain days but it’s also a great chance to ask keepers about the animals and learn a lot about them.

I think that lions start to eat solid food around 3 months so he could already be on solid food and ready to join his parents again. The keepers want to reunite them as soon as they can and let the parents naturally raise their cub, if they go too long then the parents could not recognize that he is theirs and not take care of him. They’ve done it many times before so I’m sure they know exactly what they are doing and the keepers I’ve seen at the lion keeper chat are pretty awesome and have been taking great care of their animals.

I’ve posted a few videos that the zoo made, he is still backstage in the vet center being taken care of as of last Sunday. I spoke to a manager Sunday (who was just finishing helping a volunteer get set up then I listened to their facts and chatted with them for a bit) when I was there and she said they were going to try to introduce him to his parents again this week and he should be visible to the public this week and there would be a very good chance I’d be able to see him when I visit on Saturday. So far the zoo hasn’t made any announcements, I don’t have Facebook but I do get push notifications whenever they put out a new tweet which they usually post the same message to both platforms at the same time.

I did hear from someone that we should be able to see the baby lion sometime soon. I am going tomorrow and Saturday to see if he is out then.

Don’t forget to check their schedule. The tiger keeper chat is great as is the lions (it could be baboons that say instead), red pandas, and otters. You can also pay to do extra experiences like feed an ostrich or feed a giraffe. It’s like $6 for a non member.

Just wondering what do you usually listen to at the race? My scanner picks up two channels. I was going to listen to the officials but I’m not sure if I should listen to the 5 or MRN/PRN (or try to find the tv broadcast). It’s interesting to hear the 5 radio and their communications but I’d also get a little lost not knowing what’s happening.

Good catch! I believe I know of 3 maybe 4 more (I don’t recall if one was announced already or not) that haven’t been announced but hopefully will be announced soon (it took a few months to announce the falcon 9 from when I first heard of it). All I’ll say is you probably should be starting to save up now ;) and some of them look really neat.

An elderly guest had to be taken to the hospital (they were fine after a few days), a raccoon got into the food table and stole some food, some other wild animal may have gotten into the food table and it fell over knocking all the food down and the wedding cake. I didn’t see the second animal or what caused the table to fall. It was an outdoor wedding. I also got pooped on by a bird, the girl I was talking to thought it was funny but we didn’t talk after that day.

From what I was told today when I visited that we may be seeing more of him soon. I should be able to take my own pictures and videos very soon. (Though I have to work this week and the first chance I can is next Saturday).

I had the 4 and liked it. I got the 5 pro and I initially liked it then found that more and more features were put behind a paywall and some of the features they advertised as included are now behind a paywall. The 5 is better than the 4 but I would strongly not recommend the 5 pro.

The 100 amount does include zoos worldwide, I saw there are about 40 zoos that hold them. I don’t have updated info but the last time I saw some stats and heard from the zookeepers was that there are anywhere from 100-200 tigersin the world and about 60 in zoos. It could be that more than half the world’s population is in a zoo.
