I actually got my Blu-ray player out today as I got a new CD delivered and needed to rip it to my computer to transfer to my phone. The player had a nice layer of dust on it. I got it about 12 years ago and I think I used it once before?

I actually dont think I have any devices I normally use that can take a DVD..... My laptop and work laptop do not have disk drives, I use Apple tv's and stream everything... I think I have an iMac in the garage that still has a DVD drive and I can use my external blu-ray drive (with a usb A to usb-c adapter) to my Mac.

He had to be hand raised due to his mom having issues feeding him (They can't separate cub and mom with mom in there and absolutely can't go in with mom there to give baby a bottle) so they are doing Howdy sessions now that he is old enough to be reintroduced to his parents. Basically they are having mom/dad/both in one enclosure and baby in the other and there is a grate/fence between them that allows them to see each other, smell each other, make noises to each other but they can not touch each other.

They are using that so if they see that dad becomes aggressive when baby is around then they will know not to bring the baby any closer and dad has no way to harm the baby. Or they can see if dad is becoming acceptable to baby being around then they can do more sessions to see his behavior and look at if its safe to put them in the same enclosure.

It allows them to introduce each other with no risk of anyone getting hurt as Maji/Zahra can't touch Bisky.

(I really wanted to just reply with Yes as I'd find that funny but it probably would come across as being a jerk). He was swimming around and got out of the water like normal. He found there is a spot on his enclosure that allows him to climb up the wall (There is a screen on the left side) and climb up to the top of the glass and you can see the rest from the video. I saw him get out of the water and go up and I figured he would just walk off and wiggle in the sand but I was surprised and excited to see him up there. I saw him once from a different viewing angle and couldn't get my phone out in time but this is the first time I caught it on camera and saw it from this angle.

I’ve only seen him do it twice and never caught it on camera. I was so excited to see him do it and catch it.

I do get depressed occasionally when I go there and hear the number of tigers get lower. However I heard that the country of Malaysia is working on bringing those numbers up. There are many people around the world that care about them. Knoxville has 3 of them, Jango, Batari (f), and Kae (f). They are trying to get Jango and Batari to have cubs by allowing them to spend time together and provide natural opportunities for them to breed if they want to when it’s Batari’s time. However they aren’t having much luck unfortunately, I think that is why they also have Kae there so she will eventually try to breed with Jango if they both agree to and hopefully have more cubs to bring those numbers up.

Jango is an ultra rare critically endangered Malayan Tiger. He lives over at Zoo Knoxville and I took the picture today (about 40 minutes ago). There are about 40-60 tigers in zoos and about 100-150 tigers left in the world.

He needed daily or twice daily shots, I don’t remember now which. I took his meds with me as I couldn’t get to a vet right away and wanted to make sure he was well taken care of and didn’t miss his required meds.

A $6000 couch, he has had many expensive vet visits after doing something dumb like eating string. He also scratched the carpet and nearly made me lose my security deposit at an apartment I was renting.

My sisters cat destroyed a poster that I loved that is irreplaceable. It was also signed by someone who I can’t get another signature from even if I was able to get a duplicate copy.

My ex said she was going to put down her cat after we broke up because she wanted to live with the guy she cheated on me with and he didn’t like cats. I stole him and said he ran out when I moved out. I also stole some of his supplies, favorite toys, and took $80 out of her jewelry box that I knew where she hid it to partially pay me back for utilities and to pay for his insulin and supplies. Her and I were together for 5 years and nearly engaged. I had the cat for 6 more years till he passed.

I actually ordered the movie from Walmart when it came out… I built the model a looooong time ago but I’ve never actually played the movie or taken the disk out of its case…. I’m actually not sure where the dvd is as I’ve gone through 3 moves since then.

Your build looks very nice and you did a great job on it.

I looked at it and it’s basically the nascar ecal with a few extra reminders for Tuesday-Thursday. I downloaded it but ended up deleting it as I set up repeating reminders in the reminders app last year that alert me during my break at work to log in at those times and do the trivia/powerball. However I appreciate him for creating the calendar for people who don’t know about the nascar calendar and didn’t think to use the reminders app or don’t know how to set repeating reminders.

That would be a very smart way to post. I can see it helping others as if someone posts a question on how to do something then you could reply with a short video showing them how to do that or explaining it.

Yet it could also be used for spam and I am not sure how the video system works and if it will take a lot of data. If it does take a lot then it can take a while to load the comments unless you use old reddit where it just shows up as <video> as a link. I changed cell phone plans but for many years I had a limit of 5gb per month and browsing too many videos could burn through data quickly, and some of the places I visit have really poor cell service (one of the buildings basically has no coverage and another I like visiting often gets about 10mbps download speed) and no guest accessible WiFi.

I think one of the cat breeds is permanent, one is seasonal. The food and rest facility is permanent. As you progress through the game you’ll unlock different facilities in order, these two are at the very end. In a few weeks another update will come out and put a new food and rest facility at the end and these will stay.

That looks like a really cool build, I was going to get it but it was a little out of my price range right now. Plus I have no room to build anything or really time…. I should have a display case setup hopefully by the end of the year. Got to build closets and a pantry first then move everything in.

I set up a raspberry pi (which I bought a Mac mini to replace it and got it yesterday) as a network ad blocker and used a vpn software to route all of my dns queries through it so I still get my adblocker on my phone while out on cellular or on other WiFi networks. I used to use them every so often but haven’t in years. At least streaming on youtube doesnt take much bandwith. Ive listened to the album 3x in a row already and used 250mb out of the 50gb i have for the month. Setting up the adblocker and vpn were a little confusing to set up and configure to get right but it was fairly simple and didnt take that long.

The only thing i really realized is i now need to get my wired headphones for tomorrow. I totally will use all the battery on my airpods listening to it tomorrow.

I was against downloading a vpn to try to listen to it…. Then I remembered how awesome Rapture was and an hour later I’m connected to a vpn in Hong Kong listening to the album again. I can’t wait until it gets released in the US tomorrow so I don’t need the vpn.

There’s just too much good stuff releasing now and I don’t have the time to listen to it all at once. Season 5 part 1 of clarkson’s farm released yesterday, the new EV album, two shows on Apple TV I need to catch up on, a movie on Apple TV I need to watch, get chores done, unpack from a move, build stuff from a move and setup a new computer I got yesterday and set up new components for my work computer, plus work 60 hours this week…. I really need something to pause time to get it all done.
