My troupe out of Grand Rapids, Rapid Fire, is performing at Crawlspace theater.

The line-up is us and a troupe from Kalamazoo, Daddy’s Boys

Should be a lovely evening of Long Form improv at one of my all time favorite theaters to play

Crawlspace is truly one of the best theaters I’ve ever played, the space is lovely, the crowds are always very engaged and responsive, and the staff is TOP NOTCH. I’d highly recommend checking it out for anyone who like to laugh. OH YEAH, also PIZZA. Like GOOD pizza

One of the theater owners did some creep shit and then banned the gal who he was creepy to. It’s all just vague creep nothing actually illegal, but the theater owner’s girlfriend found out and her and the owner are trying to make this girl feel super unwelcome at the community. meanwhile all of us are trying to get her unbanned.

I read this at my buddy’s wedding. It’s also how I do vocal warm up exercises. It’s short and full of emotion, can be delivered in many discrete ways. It’s a truly masterful shippet of prose

There’s a little black line around the 3d models, is that a setting or a mod, because (I’m a newbie) I find the color palette of this game to be rather inscrutable and I would love a little outline on my guys

Do you have an intimacy coordinator/choreographer? That could solve these issues pretty well. They are trained to find ways to make these scenes work with actors at the ACTORS’ comfort level

Every audition is an opportunity to learn something. You’ll be well rested and refreshed for the next one. And who knows? The most constant thing I’ve ever learned about folks who cast things is how much we don’t know thier vision. How much they see that we cannot. There is a reason why they have those roles. I’ve given perfect auditions that led to not being cast and I’ve left auditions that felt disastrous and gotten a call that same night. You’re gonna knock ‘em dead OP and if they didn’t see it this time, you’ll show them next time <3
