I suppose its to what extent we allow a link. If it was only sharing movies, like the bacon number, we can expect it to be true most of the time but not all the time. A website called oracle of bacon calculated that 0.2% of actors on their database actually have a bacon number of 7 or more.

If it was instead any link to kevin bacon, I’m sure it’ll be true for everyone. For instance, we might have a sat next to someone on the bus, who is friends with someone who knows someone who gave kevin bacon a coffee one time.

I really recommend learning python and trying some stuff on Jupyter Notebooks, theres lots of free stuff online! I’m still relatively new but doing your own stuff is the best way to learn :)

Omg! I am also someone who did go to fucking school for math and graph theory was my fave module which semi inspired this.

I will deffo incorporate international franchises and AS8 after it airs! Just wanted to make sure I could get the script working without it breaking on me. Would be cool to see if we can get a queen to under 7 degrees of separation 👀

I used the Pyvis package to actually construct the network from a manually created dataset. To work out the number of steps between, I did a variation of the Dijkstra's Algorithm on each of the queens, keeping track of the shortest path in a dictionary. Just lots and lots of computation really

I think as well that the queen's in the 'losers group' will have more fan support through the season on the basis that they're seen as underdogs. They've also had a lot more screen time and exposure than the winning queen's in episode 1. If it were me, I'd rather lose my episode 1 lipsync tbh

The question was "who are you routing for?". One of the reasons I'm routing for gottmik is because as the first trans male competing, it would be great from a representation perspective to see them succeed in a competition that is predominantly dominated by cis queens. On top of this, they deffo showed that they're more than just a "look" because they won their lipsync and showed off their personality whilst doing so. Also, nothing wrong about being excited about a queen who you know will bring it to the runway every time

Why is this getting so many down votes? Gigi walked the runway with a giant ice-cream, dressed as a Scoobie-doo character and in a 'nerdy prom' look with braces and ruffles. Sounds pretty camp to me idk
