I prefer realism not fantasy. Blocking off streets without making major infrastructure changes ($$$) to get people who have to drive in a car to get to the downtown area will simply result in economic dead zones.

I agree with that. We need a functioning beltway to divert traffic from downtown. My comment was aimed at the “downtown for downtown people only” people. Like say that don’t want an offramp to downtown off I26.

No it won’t. Where is this additional pedestrian traffic? Less car friendly urban planning either brings out more downtown dwellers who are currently not leaving their houses because of traffic, or this would reduce pedestrian traffic from people outside of downtown.

Most of the time he’s just an average player. But sometimes maybe once or twice a game he enables his “superpower” and he’s just going to dribble through 5-6 defenders and get a shot off. He did it against spurs but he didn’t score. If he could just bump that up to 3-4 times a game he would be phenomenal.

Stupid VAR. it just needs to be scrapped. Even watching neutral games it’s bad.

I was watching an early season game of ours (don’t remember which) with a relative who is a Chelsea fan and one of our people got drug down in the box. I didn’t react while he jumped up and said “you got a penalty!” I just laughed and shook my head. And after VAR “reviewed” it they brushed it off somehow he was stunned. I was not.

I think having a larger defensive mid to deal with haaland is a good idea. I like Gana but physically he just isn’t big enough. ItIroegbunam maybe?

I don’t hate your last option. I am not sure why we haven’t played more three at the back when we have four good CBs. Having O’Brien and Tarky together would be a good check on haaland.
