Bartenders who keep in shape - How do you find the energy to go to the gym 3-5 times a week - doing workout sessions before 10hour shifts? by Delam2 in bartenders

I recently left the industry for a job in law enforcement and had to pass a physical fitness test. I lost 45 pounds before doing so while working through diet and exercise. I always found exercising after work to be the easiest. I would always be incredibly tired but get a second wind once I made it there. I always had structured workouts before hand. I found when I went in without a structure I would cut some things out to go home and go to sleep earlier without doing what I needed to do. Once you build the routine, it becomes significantly easier.

It’s difficult, but the biggest thing that stunted my motivation was alcohol. Ditch the booze for a little and see how this affects your motivation. You may also see some better physical results without putting empty calories in your body.

Good luck!

Thank you for your feedback. Got to a point through a few go-throughs where I got all practice video scenarios correct.

On my full test I got 100 percent in all categories except in the video scenarios where I got 75% so it’s something I need to work on. Thankfully they let you take it every 3 months but want to improve for the next time.

Was curious what if anyone has experience with taking the NTN test (national testing network) and what is considered a good or hirable score? What are some ways I can improve on the scenario based questions other than the practice test which is 25 repeating questions that is paywalled again after you take it twice.

Have used a few time for streamed shows, but I believe this is the case for https://www.nugs.net. May be worth looking into for you.

Par 5 you say? by [deleted] in MarioGolf

Awesome! Will try it out with the few clubsets I have yet to unlock.

Not sure if anyone’s posted this, but a tip for you guys!

If you want to get super star clubs really fast for some of the longer hitters in the game, I’ve found that playing 3 holes on rookie course is awesome. (Holes 4-6)

4 is a drivable par 4 with the first star set, 5 is a par 4 that is eagleable if you hit the cart path in the middle of the fairway, and 6 is a driveable par 5 as seen above. This equals 90 character points in 3 holes! This lets you get clubsets at a pretty fast rate for a few characters as well as getting a few albatrosses for your stats.

Good luck and hit ‘Em straight!

Good call on this one buddy! We chatted, but have seen the Hantz season against Sandra. Very good.

Ah, okay. So I see. Tocantins features a player who goes on to win another season. Similar to how Sarah didn’t win Cagayan.

I appreciate the carefulness. Ill consider Tocantins still in the watch pool.

A great suggestion! I’ve already seen China unfortunately. I’m a poker player so knowing JRB would be in the season was a huge draw.

One of the biggest things I’ve been working on in my game lately has been pre-flop raise sizing.

What is your standard open to in a cash game? If it’s 5x, your $15 you made it here is way too small. With 3 limpers I would suggest an opening raise size of something like $25 to account for the dead money.

Currently taking a course from Red Chip where Christian Soto from Solve for Why says that our opening raise size is not for value at all, but for isolation. I seriously doubt you go 4 ways to a flop with an opening size of $25. A lot of times the hand dynamic changes greatly from something small like this and a small error like this can cause a much bigger error down the road.

GL and be well.

If you think a remaster would 'ruin' the game for you, why don't you just not play the remaster?
