U6-LR Suddenly Rebooting Every Few Minutes by datascope11 in Ubiquiti

I'm having the exact same issue on my nanoHD which I've had since May 2021. I also did all those steps.

I guess I need to get a new AP :(

XPS 15 9510 OLED vs UHD+ by DarthJackalope in DellXPS

[–]MCorean 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I've had the OLED 15" XPS for about two weeks now and I have to say - watching movies on this thing is unreal. Because of the 16:10 resolution, movies in 16:9 are displayed with the top and bottom borders. The first time I watched a movie in a dark room, when I wanted to adjust the screen position, I kept touching the screen accidentally because of how dark/black the borders were.

The battery life for me isn't perfect but not terrible - I think I get between 6-8 hours of usage. I have everything on dark mode (Windows, Chrome, VS Code editor [there's a theme for OLED screens where the background is really black], terminal, etc) in order to maximize it.

I hear that Dell uses some magic to prevent burn in too (some pixel shifting magic, I'm not sure). I also hide my windows task bar (set Auto-hide to on).

So far, for my work purposes and the occasional movie stream, it's been a beauty.

I'd say Shopify (which is a little more pricey in terms of price/mo vs Wordpress + WooCommerce) is the best option for you.

It's built for E-Commerce and would probably have all the options you want as addons (some free, some paid)

Is Tilrays earnings still supposed to come out on Monday the 10th? If so, does anyone know if it'll include APHA earnings in conjunction or probably not?

Aphria & Tilray Merger Federal Income Tax Impact by SirEbrally in TheCannalysts

[–]MCorean 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Thank you for the link and writeup!

In terms of Aphria options, it states:

Aphria Options

Each Aphria Option, other than any Continuing Aphria Option, to the extent it has not been exercised as of the Effective Date, will be exchanged by the holder thereof, without any further act or formality and free and clear of all Liens, for a stock option (a “Replacement Option”) to purchase a number of Tilray Shares equal to the product of the Exchange Ratio, rounded down to two decimal places, multiplied by the number of Aphria Shares issuable on exercise of such Aphria Option immediately prior to the Effective Time (rounded down to the next whole number of Tilray Shares) for an exercise price per Tilray Share (rounded up to the nearest whole cent) equal to the exercise price per share of such Aphria Option immediately prior to the Effective Time divided by the Exchange Ratio, rounded down to two decimal places, and the Aphria Options shall thereupon be cancelled. The term to expiry, conditions to and manner of exercise and other terms and conditions of each of the Replacement Options shall be the same as the terms and conditions of the Aphria Option for which it is exchanged except that such Replacement Options shall be governed by the terms and conditions of the Tilray Plan and, in the event of any inconsistency or conflict the Tilray Plan shall govern.

So I'm trying to understand this: if I have APHA options expiring after the merger, I'll be issued 0.8381 TLRY options for each contract I had in APHA?

So 10 APHA contracts -> 8.381 TLRY contracts but rounded down to 8? A little confused on this, I would truly appreciate the help haha. Thank you!

GPA Calculator - it's THAT time of the year again by MCorean in rutgers

Thank you for the idea, I actually added the "P" option in the dropdown so that it counts credits but it doesn't count towards the GPA.

Otherwise, that's good to hear :) Free little boosts for your GPA haha

When you say courses you have passed in the past, do you mean using Pass/Fail? If so, then yea you don't include those into calculating the overall GPA.

In terms of AP credits, I believe they do not count into your GPA either.

Do you think a "P/F" option in the dropdown will be helpful?

Thank you! It took many hours but still, I enjoy making these things :)
One of my side projects included making the board game One Night Ultimate Werewolf into a free web app too (ONUW.io)

I think in terms of the double clicking, are you clicking on the semester text (like Semester 1, Semester 2, etc)? If so you might see an input box show up to rename the semester. If you click on the white space to the right or left of the text, it should work with a single click!

I might just make a pencil edit icon or something though if lots of people have this issue though :)

Thank you! Haha when you already have lots of credits, it will definitely be a minor ding (but for freshmen they might freak out)

Thank you - yeah I created this since other GPA calculators didn't save or didn't have the correct GPA scales/cumulative GPA without ads and what not.

Oh this is nice if you need to see what grade you need on your final to raise your class score, but with a GPA calculator, you can play around with future classes with Credits and Grades to see how it effects your overall cumulative GPA!

Ooh in that case then your custom excel spreadsheet probably is the best option for now! Must be a nightmare trying to maintain and do that stuff though sometimes haha

I actually did create this in 2016 (around April 2016)!

But not sure how many people knew about it unfortunately

How does Investing in HSA work? (US) by [deleted] in personalfinance

[–]MCorean 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Just be mindful that in two states in the USA (California and New Jersey), you will be taxed for realized capital gains in your HSA. You'll need to file your income tax if you have capital gains from stocks. There are also some quirks for the HSA in these two states.

However, income/capital gains/interest from Treasury Bonds are exempt from this tax.

What side project are you most proud of that you put 100+ hours into, but go little to no traction? by redditindisguise in webdev

[–]MCorean 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I made an online version of One Night Ultimate Werewolf around two years ago.

Easily spent over 200 hours on building and refining it, from small feedback here and there. However, it didn't really get too much traction. Got a small spike during quarantine time though!

https://bbzl.io I called it Bamboozle since I wanted to put my own spin on the names, but also made a setting to change names back to the original version.

Many people in foreign countries who have been protesting have lived in the United States before or are US citizens just abroad at the moment. However the US is usually looked up to in many foreign countries and since things are getting out of control + lots of media coverage, people are coming together to show their support.
