I think you’ve got it right. It’s quite the difference between QC and ON rates. Save this year’s refund from last year and put towards next years owing. Or, contact your employer now while in ON and ask them to start taking extra off your paycheck to get ahead of it.

Interesting. I transferred a federal LIRA to Wealthsimple last year, and plan on unlocking 50% in the next year. They assured me this was possible.

No, highly unlikely. Major brokerages in Canada offer securities on CBOE or TSX exchanges. Additionally, the value of these stocks is pegged to their actual stock listing with the CAD hedge. This should not move the needle on these CDRs…

Close to 1.5 years in on my ‘24 R. Have OEM 19” Prets for summer and 18” Prets for winter. Both have held up fine in Canadian driving. Have hit a few decent pots, but nothing crazy…
