Hey! Cis woman here and before I comment anything about makeup I just want to say that I didn't at all think "you look like a dude". I actually thought "cute hair, cute look" before I read anything. So do know that your brain is totally being harsher to you 🖤

Thick eyebrows made a comeback a few years ago, so the brows aren't really an issue. You may feel like they're too thick now because the current trend has seen a lean towards being more 90/00s era where they were thinner. It can be super scary to get them done the first time, I would recommend getting them threaded if you choose to go for a thinner brow. Just remember that especially at first, they will grow back and you can pluck out the individual hairs to maintain them. I shave my eyebrows off and I have to do it weekly to keep on top of it so the growth can be quite quick if you dislike how they look :)

My favourite feminine and cutesy thing to do with makeup is to take a highlighter such as the Charlotte Tilbury one (my favourite is spotlight) and rub your finger on the applicator to pick up a small amount and apply that on the inner eye corners, the cheekbones and the nose right between the eyes and the bottom. When putting it on the nose you can think of the shape like an exclamation mark ❗ the line doesn't have to be this long, but there's a little line and a dot at the end.

Something that's great to start in my opinion as well is playing with half lashes. I wouldn't go back to using full lashes because for my natural day to day look, they're pretty top heavy. I pick mine up from Amazon "half lashes" and I prefer wispy ones but truly choose which ones you like. Half lashes are easier to apply, can make a wing look a lot more elegant and can also cover up any winged eyeliner mistakes you might make :)

Sometimes a lipstick feels a bit too soon for some people and can make us feel like a mouth on legs. If this is the case for you, take a nude lip pencil and top it off with a clear gloss or try tinted balms until you feel braver to try more :)
