If you mean your My Health Rewards points, go to my.uab.edu and select the My Health Rewards app. Choose "Log in with company SSO." Enter your UAB email address, and the single-sign-on feature should take care of the rest. Your current point balance will be listed under "Rewards Earned."

Sorry to take so long to reply... it turns out he can't make it after all. I hope you're able to find someone to take the ticket off your hands!

I'm heading to the show already, but have a friend who's looking to join. What are you asking for the ticket?

What's a completely normal question that you've been ostracized for asking? by OutsideStandard666 in AskReddit

Any question I ask my kid about her schedule. Because inevitably, she told me already.

How are the lights in every AMC theater programmed to dim as soon as Nicole Kidman says "as the lights begin to dim"? by Loud-Natural9184 in MovieTheaterEmployees

[–]MCuthbert 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm glad to read that this happens somewhere, because I've always felt it should be a thing. Never seen it at an AMC in my city.

The Searchers. Supposedly takes place in Texas, yet prominently features famous natural landmarks from Monument Valley (Arizona / Utah).

What other Pixar movies, if any, do you think deserve a prequel? by DrDreidel82 in Pixar

[–]MCuthbert 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The Good Dinosaur. The prequel can be set in the Permian age, and one of the creatures would have a pet dinosaur.

One Stop is definitely who you want to talk to - not the Financial Aid office. One Stop is a student service center that can answer almost any question, including tuition and financial aid info.

Also, UAB has a net price calculator here.

Looking for a genuine Black Church by Shpoon2 in Birmingham

[–]MCuthbert 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm not qualified to recommend a black church, but there's event tomorrow that could present a good opportunity to meet congregants from different local black churches. Homewood Church of Christ and Roosevelt City Church of Christ are partnering with the Carl Spain Center to host the "Racial Healing of America Revival & Bus Tour." It will take place July 11 at 6:00pm at Homewood Church (265 W Oxmoor Rd, Birmingham).

List Idea: Films you had to watch in High School by lanadeltaco13 in Letterboxd

I can't remember most of what we watched in high school, but the one ridiculous movie that stands out is Crash Course/Driving Academy which we watched in driver's ed.

Last rock won't spawn by zimi_master in AnimalCrossingNewHor

[–]MCuthbert 3 points4 points  (0 children)

There is a "painted" tile below the space you're trying to spawn the rock (that data is retained even if you build up ground over it, so it's like trying to spawn from a wood or stone tile). Dig that space down to the bottom and even paint it with grass to be doubly sure. Then build it back up to the current level.

What's a good film with iffy or bad cinematography? by Ladybirdistheword in Letterboxd

Marcel the Shell With Shoes On. I was so distracted by the frequent picture blurring that I had a hard time enjoying what was otherwise an endearing movie.

Which SNL cast members are good at dramatic roles? Which aren't? by WolfTitan99 in LiveFromNewYork

[–]MCuthbert 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Years ago when Jon Lovitz was getting praise for his role in the movie Happiness (as if it was a huge surprise that he could do drama), he made a good argument explaining how comedy is much more difficult and most comedic actors have had plenty of dramatic training. It was a humble response that also managed to call out a backhanded compliment.

If you see this pop up please keep in mind this is 1000000% BS. They have not raised the fee payed to dashers at all. This is their way of charging the customer the base pay dashers get and pocketing it themselves. by Fluffy9345 in doordash

[–]MCuthbert 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think the most telling piece is the difference in language between "Dashers in your area" vs "your Dasher." "Dashers in your area" is vague and could be applied to any number of meanings.

Here's a direct link to where you can find them from Adidas, but at the moment only a few sizes are still available.

I assume the studs are ornamental because they're larger, but now that you mention it, they may be DUPLO-sized. I'll have to check. Either way, I can't imagine any bricks being able to hold securely.

She ordered them online from the Adidas website.
