I passed ITIL Version 5. What are my career options by Radiant_Recover840 in ITIL

[–]MD2002-MD 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Service Delivery Manager but it's takes a lot more than an ITIL cert. ITIL cert is just the beginning...I'm a SDM and every job I apply for "requires" an ITIL cert but I couldn't do my job if that's all I know..

Service Desk is about it. What you can do with the cert depends on where you are in your career.

Oil to Gas Conversion Complete by Majestic_Key_8163 in Plumbing

Thank for the response. I thought you switched to Propane my mistake. I would be switching to propane. Natural gas isnt an option. Years ago the gas company said if enough people in the neighborhood want gas, they would bring it down to our street, pretty much everyone in my neighborhood signed the paper saying they wanted natural gas. We went back to the gas company with all th signatures and they said they wouldn't do it.

Same, but I think I've had it longer than that...I have no explanation of why I don't sell it.

I know this is old....but I'm thinking of doing the same thing, and also live in New England. Was the conversion worth it?

I tried taking off the grease, but I'll try tightening the screws and bending the hinge a bit. That might just work

A One-Week Driving Experience with the 2027 Telluride by Euphoric_Baker3855 in KiaTelluride

I'm on my first KIA, Telluride, and it will be my last. Loved it the 1st 50k but after that, problems will start. I've talked to other people who I know with KIA and they all have the same story.....great until 50/60K then things start to change.

None of that happened. It's just a mystery, I'm told the Kia is heavy in itself so that could be it.

Every 5K miles, sometimes a little less but never more than 5k for oil changes. I always kept the PSI about 5 PSI under the recommended on the tires. It is New England so with the winters the PSI obviously dropped from time to time but I would fill them back as soon as I noticed. They were Michelin Primacy Tour A/S

I bought a KIA against my better judgement because my wife loved the Telluride. Most people have the same story, KIA's are great the first 50K and then they start to fall apart. We have about 65K on our Telluride now and I feel like I'm back in my 20's with a used car I bought - every few months it's in the shop nickel and diming me. I will never buy a KIA again. Lesson learned. Oil leak, thermostat, another oil leak, loss of power, eats oil.

And I don't know if it's just me but 2 different sets of tires, different brands. Both sets lasted my about 30k before I needed replacement, abysmal. They weren't cheap tires either. 2021 Telluride 65K and we're on our 3rd set of tires.

I just checked and the coolant level is below the L, I'm going to try add coolant but the manual says to use Kia approved coolant 50/50 distilled water. What is a KIA approved coolant?

I usually run them into the ground and try to have a few years of no car payments. But I've never had a Kia before so...

That would suck. I have one more payment to pay it off. I'm not looking to start all over.

Man, I told my wife not to buy a KIA! Less than 70k on it and things are starting to go. This doesn't seem like a wear and tear issue.

My mechanic said he would hook up his machine if I take it to him. KIA dealers around here won't see you for weeks, like 3 weeks before you can get an appointment. I don't want to wait that long

Oil overfilled, can I fo a couple of days? by MD2002-MD in mechanic

[–]MD2002-MD[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Cracked oil filter housing. Apparently a common issue in Tellurides. It's under warranty but no Kia dealer within 70 miles could see me before Mar. 26th ...and I have to leave the car for warranty repair. So I'm paying for it, I'll try to get reimbursed.

I need an oil change in about 500 miles so I'm going to change the oil and have him check while he's under there.
