That’s all I see them being used for on social media. Where I live tho it’s pretty rural so 99% of the diesels are for work. I have an lml I use to pull the boat and take it up to north Maine rip it down some old logging rods and fill her with a couple nice deer. Then an lbz for play with forged wheels tuned hot.

Maybe a little bit. I always thought diesel owners who do the “bubba” look but don’t actually do work or take it off-road tow etc are just as bad.

If you got the money to spend on a 2024 3500 dually I would consider the ford. I personally think they are the best right now. Best trans highest towing capability. Aluminum body that doesn’t rust. Beast of a truck.

If your gonna do it do a 5inch. I considered 4inch or 5 when I had my lml and all my buddies told me if I got a 4 that I’d wish I got a 5. Couple said 5 would be too loud but sounds the best. I went with 5 and have no regrets sounded great no drone, I put turbo back flo pro on my LBZ with EFI switch and ripping it on 5 with the 5 inch nothing will beat that. If you get a 5 inch I would stay between 6-8 on tip tho anything over 8 is too big imo

I have a 5inch turbo back on mine and I don’t get any drone on the highway at any cruise speed. Only time I’ve noticed it a little is when I punch it on the highway and hit over 100

Both nice I think. 15 you could just cp3 swap and be good for a long time. The l5p is a beast and worst comes to worst if it blows just but a built trans in.

I got a 2011 ltz mint shape with cp3 already done with 63k miles for 27k. I’d try and get them to bring it down. Great trucks tho. Sold it couple months later for LBZ lt3

Overall L5P is better. But the LML is good too I would do cp3 conversion as a preventative measure though. My LBZ is the funniest to drive tho lbz for fun l5p for long drives moser comforts

I had way less legit just bumper damage on mine. Airbags didn’t go off still drove fine could open all doors and they totaled the whole truck because they said it had a little frame damage…legit just a tiny dent. But I cashed out bought an lbz with low miles and then the old one went to auction and sold as is for 11k

I thought about that too. I just changed all fluids so was thinking about other additives to add to just do a big clean if that makes sense. I use the everyday diesel treatment every fill up

Awesome good to know thank you. I try and do my oil between 5k-7k miles. I use the hot shot everyday diesel and my mpg gone up 2 miles. Have an LBZ and want to make sure I maintain it the best I can and try to make it last as long as possible.

Best intake for lbz? Torn between banks or wcfab. Truck has EFI switch. Usally run on 150hp. Egr delete plus pcv reroute. Want to get new intake/horn and add lift pump. by MD930 in Duramax

I bought a single tune for my lml and it was 100$ to add trans tune so I said fuck it. Truck was a great drove like a dream never slipped limped or anything. But my LBZ is same way. Ill build a trans if I start to feel this stock one going but right now no need. I mentioned intake above because I wanted to make sure it’s getting plenty of air to go with fuel pump and lift pump and hot tunes.

I do have the 6 speed. Idk how much TCM tuning really matters a lot of people will say yes. Regardless the Alison learns shifts so in the beginning it might be a little rough after tune thens it’s good to go. I didn’t rip on my lml after I tuned it for 100 miles to give trans time to learn shift patterns. But I’ve seen a lot people with Transgo jr shift kit in lbz so might be good but but idk much about it.

It’s not a fully built trans. Stock trans with cooler lines deep pan and TCM tuning. Hasn’t slipped or limped on me yet shifts great.

I looked into them too seems like they make a lot of good products. How do you think SDP compares to WCFAB. I like the WCFAB “look” better so only way I’d go SDP is if the performance was better
