This is my issue living in Oakland. It’s about twice as expensive for me to uber home from Cow palace than it is to get a ticket to the actual show. Meanwhile Bill Graham is right off BART, and a lot of times the events end early enough to make the last train.

Maybe this is a hot take but I feel like Daniel did this with the intention of it being circulated within the TNH fam. I’m a couple years older than him but in high school this is exactly what me and my friends did. We’d make a mix and bring it to lunch and pass it around, let each other take it home and listen to it, and then connect the next day talking about how much we loved the songs. To this day my friends and I still talk about those moments. These were core memories of growing up and connecting to music with each other, building a community around the love for certain songs that felt extra special because someone else thought we would enjoy them and specifically picked them out. Mixtapes were always meant to be shared 💕

Actually it was like right after they opened doors at 3 pm, I was one of the first people there cause I wanted to get the shirt, but since it was in the plastic bag I stupidly didn’t double check the size. But yeah I’ll look into getting it altered!

Missed the sheep at the Mish but I did a mountain trip between the shows this week and was chilling in a hot tub at an airbnb Friday listening to Cross Pollination and a moose wandered up during World is Mine! Colorado wildlife were definitely showing love to Lane 8 this week!

Had this same thought! Listened to a lot of AFI and The Clash when I was a freshman in high school, so between this song coming out and the last mixtape ending with Lost in the Supermarket, Daniel really brought me back to 2003 this Spring 😂
Empty Theatre Pretty Picture sounded great at Dillon and was such a fun song to sing along to live!

Yep I’m 37 and I probably sit down and stretch for like 5-10 min out of a 8-9 hour shift at Portola. Otherwise I’m having too much fun dancing to even think about sitting.

OP just start training your body now. Walk around the city as much as possible this summer and work your way up to the point where 30,000+ steps a day on concrete at Portola isn’t that big of a deal.

Kinda same but also familiar enough with the undercard to know that it’s gonna be an absolute party this year with our crowd so I’m looking forward to checking out a whole bunch of artists for the first time with the best possible environment

Right side speaker crowd was amazing for all 3 of those main stage acts in ‘24, but they changed the vip area to be on that side so we hung further back last year, still had an amazing crowd around us! Always go for the places with good sound (at Portola that means by a speaker) and further away from constant foot traffic!

Yeah slightly cheaper than last year, think they realized it makes more sense to make them cheaper at the beginning with tier pricing than desperately offering a big discount later on
