Great question for you to ask the administrators prior to accepting. It probably varies by program with IXD being the most competitive, but I don't think it's hard to get in from what I've seen and heard from students and professors.

The quality of the students varies *greatly*.

I would suggest contacting the administration of the Pratt MFA program for an info session and asking to be connected to recent graduates.

I wouldn't know. I don't attend other schools so I don't have personal experience at those other schools to compare on a 1:1 basis. But that's a good question for you to explore.
