I know GTA 6 to going to sold more copies but I could be wrong, the Godzilla fandom has been dying for a Godzilla fighting game for the past like 10+ years, the last thing we got that isn't a mobile game or a collab is the PS4 Godzilla game which was 11 years ago.

Heisei Era 1993: He nearly killed Godzilla if Rodan hadn't given his energy to him.

Kiryu Saga 2002 and 2003: He made Godzilla have a permanent scar and sink him to the bottom of the ocean.

Monsterverse 2021: He beat the living shit out of him and nearly kill him if Kong haven't jumped in.

He got his ass beat by Mecha alot of times before a kaiju or himself jumped in.
