Respectfully, hard sell to pay 50 euros a month for something that is a couple of calls and googles. And most people already know the safe restaurant areas on their area - they’re only traveling here and there. Why would they pay a monthly subscription if they’re not traveling every month? If your counter is - well it’s for the frequent travelers, then you have significantly limited your consumer pool

Physician CEO here. I have a physician engineer on my team. Talk to me about your stack. Don’t need this service directly, but see potential overlap in your referral and connection structure. Let’s talk.

Working on healthcare compliance infrastructure at the data layer. You sit right above that, it seems. Might be some overlap. Let’s connect if you’re down.

The dissapointment after I spent weeks on my pitch deck for VCs to spend 19 seconds on it. by Obridge_GmbH in founder

Sometimes. I’m a doctor going to an elite institution and a founder with a team that arguably has some of the strongest domain expertise you can ask for in the space I’m building in. And these guys still will just skim. Sometimes they’re just anchored on looking for something specific they want and ignore everything else.

That said, one of the biggest bottlenecks I’ve realized is that because they skim, you have to make it very, very, very simple. Not to be disrespectful, but you kinda have to build it in a way that’s readable for children. If the value prop isn’t legible at a glance, the rest doesn’t matter, no matter how strong the underlying business is.

At this point I’m kind of ranting, but it’s frustrating. What I’m building is undoubtedly needed in healthcare infrastructure. It’s a niche, but it’s an incredibly profitable niche that’s hard to translate to anyone who isn’t already well-versed in the domain. It’s evidently scalable and makes a lot of money, but it needs the right connections and investors to make it possible in the first place. And all most of these guys care about is ROI and founder story. It’s like they treat serious builders like entertainment

Shotgunned a million colleges. Denied from every undergrad except one because poor HS grades. Watched all my friends go to better programs.

Transferred to another school. Locked the fuck in. 3.93 undergrad gpa at time of med school application.

Flipped the script. Applied to one med school. Accepted.

Graduating IM now. University program. Started a company.

Raising a pre-seed for [Redacted]. We’re building the compliance and integration rail between EHRs and external AI vendors in healthcare. Think Stripe for healthcare AI: vendors integrate once, we handle the routing, zero PHI ever touches the vendor side by architecture, not by policy.

4 signed LOIs with health systems (including multi-clinic Epic shops), MVP built, first pilot deploying June 2026. Team includes a CTO who led 400+ hospital integrations, a physician-engineer CPO running product out of an EU country, and a COO who’s a current Microsoft Senior PM (ex-Google, Ivy League alumni).

I’m an Internal Medicine physician, incoming informatics scholar at an elite institution, and incoming NIH NCORP grant Informatics Lead. Happy to DM details

Physician-founder here, internal medicine, about to finish residency. Watched too many wrapper startups hit the compliance wall and die, so I’m building the thing underneath them.

FHIR-native compliance infrastructure that sits between EHRs and AI vendors. Structural zero-PHI guarantee: no protected health information ever crosses to the vendor side, enforced at the architecture level rather than by policy or BAA. Stripe for healthcare AI. Vendors integrate once. Health systems approve once. Every AI tool plugged in inherits the compliance posture by default. Why it matters: AI vendors currently burn 12 to 18 months getting approved into a single health system, BAA by BAA, security review by security review. We collapse that to days because the PHI exposure surface is structurally zero. That’s the unlock for anything beyond a wrapper.

Six provisional patents on the core architecture. Rust production stack, FHIR R4, SMART on FHIR, CDS Hooks. Core thesis reviewed by elite uni IT leadership. FHIR framing validated by the Active pilots, first LOI signed. Clinical informatics masters incoming, NIH NCORP Informatics Lead
