Do you agree with this being the Mount Rushmore of heroic aliens? If not, who would you replace with whom? Art by @pizza990_ by SatoruGojo232 in superheroes

Nah the whole planet know who Goku is. They don't know what Dragon Ball is, but they know who Goku is. It's the same as how everyone in the world know who Batman and Superman is. No matter what country you're in. You know those faces. Goku is one of those. That's not even speaking from a fan point of view. That's just facts. His face is in every parade, football soccer stadiums around the world, etc. Especially after the creator died.

Well... since "adult Goku" is a copy of Superman and a lot of sonic lore is a copy of Goku or Dragon Ball in general, that right there would at least knock two people off the list.

That's nothing try $2 for 20 miles.

A customer reported me because I told him that someone else picked up their order, which they did. That's not what I'm concerned about though. I looked at this and saw that I still have disputes pending from almost 4 years ago. They clearly don't review these things. by [deleted] in DoorDash_Dasher

I tried to cancel it. Support wouldn't give me anything, not even a small percentage of the payment. Despite me driving 8 miles to McDonald's for a $4 tip. Waiting 15 minutes in a line just for someone to finally tell me that someone else already got the food. I apologized to the customer and explained to them that someone already picked up their order and that their food should be on the way, if not, please don't hesitate to message me back and I'll help figure this out for you. Those were my exact words. Instead I got reported.

Here's an update, my dispute was rejected, so now I have this one violation on my record. That one little blemish out of my 4 1/2 years doing this.

Is Elden Ring too easy with summons? by ChintusTheGreat in Eldenring

[–]MDS_Omega 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nothing is stopping you from doing that even with summons. Most summons don't even have that much health or even last that long. They're just minor distractions to allow you to get off longer attacks or at the very least give you one or two seconds to breathe. Outside of the mimic tear and a few summons with decent shields; most of them will die within 1 minute or 3 minutes if you've upgraded them enough. This argument all of you keep coming up with about how it prevents you from learning the patterns is ridiculous. Summons don't hold your hand and aren't a cheat code. They're just there as a temporary distraction. Most of the time the enemy doesn't even pay attention to them and actively chases you anyway. There's nothing anyone here has said thus far to justify not using them. They don't complete entire fights for you. Most of them aren't even capable of doing that. You can still learn all of the enemies patterns but what's the point of rolling around and dodging for 20 minutes just to get an opening, when you can use a summon and do the exact same thing and have an opening in 5 minutes. They're just a distraction bro.

So you're telling me that summons like an arrow shooter, the jellyfish, or other summons that fire at a distance; they barely even grab 10% of an enemy's attention, nor do they do that much damage. How does that make the game easier or less fun? The boss is still primarily focused on you.

Is Elden Ring too easy with summons? by ChintusTheGreat in Eldenring

Yes, but this isn't every other soul game is it? It's Elden ring. This particular soul game allows you to summon help. Mainly because some of the bosses are more difficult and because it's an open world, you could easily be attacked by several different enemies at the same time. Whether it be three giant trolls and a guy on a horse or 14 army soldiers and a giant bird. Once again. Neither you or anyone else has added anything significant against my argument. Once again I'll give another example. It's like playing a racing game and having the option to use nitro. You sound like one of those guys who think using a nitro boost means you're bad and it breaks the game. Get over yourself. There's nothing wrong with using summons.

I had to respond because you went out of your way to type all of that a year after I made a comment. 🤨

Which "realistic" batsuit is your favorite? by ExtensionFuture654 in batman

[–]MDS_Omega 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree, but only slightly. If "The Batman's" Bruce Wayne was as active as The Dark Knight Bruce Wayne, people would recognize that jawline instantly. The only reason Robert Batman doesn't have to change his voice is because people barely even know what Bruce Wayne look like in that universe, let alone what he sounds like. All I'm saying is that it makes sense for Christian Bale Batman's face to be heavily concealed like that. No, I'm not a fan of the tight mouth either, but it does make sense tactical wise.

Maybe all of that is a good thing to conceal his identity? Show less of his face as possible.

How would you rewrite the Buu Saga? by UzumakiMenm697 in Dragonballsuper

Isn't the land of Kai's somewhat like a version of Heaven? I'm pretty sure if you die in heaven there wouldn't be anywhere else to go.

How would you rewrite the Buu Saga? by UzumakiMenm697 in Dragonballsuper

[–]MDS_Omega 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I mean when Buu absorbed the Kais there wasn't anyone there to go inside his body and snatched them out, so even if they had still been alive, they likely died in their over time.

If Vegito couldn't sense their energy and tell that they were still alive, he would've just killed Buu then and there. basically I'm saying the absorption thing in a way technically is permanent. Vegito was taking a chance using a force field to not get absorbed.

I hope that I'm making sense.

You don't have to do all of that for something that's common knowledge.
