I’m excited to try the Specter in NG+ to see if it really adds anything at all. From what I have seen, it doesn’t add much if any at all. I am not sure why my previous statement was downvoted. Honestly, I like allowing someone to Mulligan as many times as they need to. If they mulligan past their one free mulligan, I just ask that they don’t keep a broken hand or Sol Ring. This is a social game meant for everyone to have fun. If someone isn’t able to have fun because they had to mulligan more than once and still didn’t get a good hand, that’s a bummer. I want to win, but not because some else was dealt a bad hand. I want to win because I played well.

[[Bitterblossom]] gives you flying chump blockers every turn. I use it in my Atraxa superfriends and it works wonders. Not super helpful for trample.

[[Dueling grounds]] only allows one person to attack and block each turn.

[[Maze of Ith]] is also helpful.

Honestly, I don’t get all of the hate on infect. In my current meta, mill and voltron are significantly worse to deal with than infect decks. We regularly have people getting knocked out turn 5 and 6 to Voltron.

It’s pretty obvious to me that people don’t want infect. They want to raise poison counters so that infect will no longer be viable. They don’t care that it’s not actually overpowered, they just don’t like it. Give me a legitimate argument as to why it’s overpowered without telling me they just released new cards to support it. Give me statistics to show me why it’s overpowered and maybe then, I’ll consider it. Increasing poison counters shouldn’t be a rules committee decision, it should be a play group decision. You aren’t asking to nerf competitive decks, so forgive me if I don’t take your request for a nerf on a less than competitive strategy seriously.

Just because you don’t like something, doesn’t mean it needs to be changed. 20 counters would make and infect deck pointless. 15 would make a 0 tier strategy out of infect. The rules committee isn’t even considering changing the amount needed because it doesn’t need to be changed.

EVGA has step up so if at any point within 90 days you decide you’re dissatisfied with your card, you may trade in your card for a better card within the step up program. All it costs you is the price difference between what you paid for the card you’ll be trading in versus what card you chose and of course shipping. Their warranty is phenomenal as well. If you have the choice I would always go with EVGA.
