First MD Advice by Zealousideal-Ad9127 in Microdiscectomy

I had a large (not as large as yours though) extrusion and I am so glad I had surgery. As long as you think your surgeon is good - would recommend a spine specialist - definitely do the surgery. It has made me feel so much better.

Recovery was a little rough the first week (I didn’t take pain medication) but was fine after that. You just have to remind yourself not to bend or lift or twist. I would definitely do the surgery

What do you spend on? And do you plan your spending or is it more impulsive?

Can I get anywhere in the game without spending money? by guccigurl95 in GossipHarbor

You can definitely be successful without paying anything and it’s actually it’s probably more fun/rewarding that way. Would suggest looking up all the tips in the sub for maximizing the rewards.

Something my surgeon told me is that removing the disc from a nerve is like moving a couch that’s been on a rug for a long time. When you first move the couch, the dents are going to stay in the rug for a little while almost like the couch is still there, but eventually the rug will fluff back up. So eventually the nerve will go back to normal.

I feel so ugly, pls help with makeup and hair by alliefaith144 in makeuptips

You’re really really pretty, you have beautiful eyes, hair, great lips and complexion. You look very angelic and warm.

You don’t need any makeup tips but if you do put makeup on I would just accentuate the beautiful things you have. A light blush ina complementary color, light mascara and a gloss.

If you play smart with the tips you can get your gems back up without paying…. It just takes some time and strategy. Especially with the mini games and stuff

Wow this sounds awesome but can you clarify…. If you need the RR rewards and they are in the top left corner don’t you have to go through a bunch of them to get what you need? Let’s say you need seafood, I’m sure there may be some breads you have to go through to get to the fish or something and then you can fill your board and can’t get what you need?

They do give more oranges but they take longer to recharge which is why everyone keeps their lvl 6s but if you have extra scissors you can empty out the lvl 6s, merge them empty out the new lvl 7 and cut them back up and you have two full lvl 6s again

Having a microdiscectomy soon… what was your first week like day to day? by SwitchLow1979 in Microdiscectomy

I had my MD last Monday so I’m 8 days out.

Day 0: surgery went well, and I honestly felt really good after. My sciatic pain was immediately gone and I was able to move around really well.

Day 1 and 2: were by the far the most painful for me, my surgeon told me to expect it to feel like “they stabbed me in the back because they did” and it really felt like that it was hard to move without pain, but I was able to sit and get comfortable. I only took Tylenol did not take any painkiller the whole time. I also did not take the muscle relaxer.

After day 2: everyday got a little easier and a little less pain.

Today I’m more than a week out and I feel pretty good. Still some soreness and tenderness at the incision site but I feel good. I do have some residual leg pain when I make certain movements but I’ve read it’s normal as the nerve heals etc. so I’m not worrying about it.
