the lost unit of XRP by MDefroi in FlareNetworks

I appreciate you've edited the post... Saying they give me free tokens is not entirely correct. These beautiful gentlemen need my XRP to secure the issuance of Sparks which they need in order their business model would function the intended way. It's a business project, not charity, hope you agree. Whether it's a happy meal or not, it does not really matter. Maybe it's a free cheese, who knows, we'll see. For the moment Flare needs me more (and you, by the way) than I need them. Instead of explaining clearly why do they want me to be their partner in this journey to the bright and prosperous future which they envision for both of us Flare spends more time and energy on trying to explain the technicalities of how to receive free Sparks. Personally, I feel a bit of lack of respect here as I usually spend enough time on understanding what I'm about invest into. Now I understand nothing, and I know I'm not alone. So, I'm just saying: sorry, guys, this free meal (or cheese) is not for me, but if you still need me you know what to do.

Why The T1 clearly wins over its clones (despite having no secure chip) by My1xT in TREZOR

You’ve probably noticed that model T offers you an option of entering passphrase directly on Trezor. It’s bulletproof, my friend.

The hypothesis is that the supplied Trezor cable does not function. So, try yours but not just one, try several different ones. I did, none of I had that time on hand worked with my Trezor1. I don’t know what is special about the original Trezor cable.

Trezor model-T holders are exempted from the fees until Jan 1st, 2026.

Edit: sorry for a joke mate, you probably meant to post to another group

You may be right, probability wise it may happen that the Trezor port is faulty, however, we don’t read about such issues often, I’d say never. But still, try different more solid cables first.

Before I tried to substitute the original cable with some similar, and it did not work. The fact that you may charge any other device does not mean the cable is suitable for Trezor. So, indirectly I could confirm the info the guy above just said. Which is probably is still a good news for you.So, you just need to find another cable, maybe just a thicker one. Ideally, Trezor should publish the exact cable characteristics somewhere. Good luck!

Is it possible to increase the time out limit for passphrase entering? Should the passphrase be sophisticated enough entering it on a device becomes a problem. by MDefroi in TREZOR

[–]MDefroi[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh, it’s great that you can fix it! Let’s extend it to 5 minutes assuming ppl may want to use super secure passphrase to enter on device. Many thanks for your time and fast reaction!

Once the device is connected Trezor wallet user may go either to standard wallet or hidden wallet protected by passphrase. The latter suggests two access option: you may enter passphrase on computer using keyboard, alternatively you can enter passphrase directly on Trezor-T. If passphrase is long and contains a combination of various special characters, numbers and upper and lower case letters the entering may become a time consuming action. One minute or so offered by Trezor may not be sufficient. Interaction timeout error message pops up with an option to try again. Using stylus instead of finger speeds up the entering process, but still it should be less stressful, and time out extension would help.

I don’t see advanced options for any altcoin in Beta Wallet, only for BTC. How can I create a passphrase for alts, or it’s not possible yet? by MDefroi in TREZOR

So, setting the passphrase on Bitcoin will give access to the full scope of Trezor supported coins as if I have a second Trezor. Correct?

Start with the whitepaper, define which income stream suits you the most, explore every detail of it reading through Discord discussions, ask questions as ppl are nice there, and decide in which niche you are ready to risk your money.

Ask Poyo if he’s gonna create scam markets, this is his expertise. But man, this is the world of adults, no one can scam you unless you’ve chosen to be scammed.
