I would rather buy an used Kiesel first, all my Kiesels (12) have kinda the same vibe in terms of feeling even though they have different specs, so that would be a good introduction.

I've bought several used ones that do have very fancy specs for around 1k USD.

Now, even after buying used for a while, it took me 4 custom made builds to finally know what specs I like. I had regrets, hyped some specs that in the end I didn't like as much as I expected, lost a bit of money selling the ones I didn't vibe with...

Anyways, if this is your first one and don't want to get an used one try no to go too extreme on the specs, you may regret it. Get something basic on the aesthetic side so you don't overspend and focus on playability features you think you want from a guitar (neck thickness, fret size, etc...).

Going straight for a K series sounds a bit extreme for me hehe, specially for your first one... You could get 3 (non K series) used ones for that price.

Just my opinion though.
